Ditkaless Wonders
I'll take Philly, CHI and NE under. The Bears where on pace for 10 wins last year when they lost their starting Q.B. I'd take the over on the Bears. I think they have improved during the offseason. In the NFC North I have the Packers winning 12, the Bears winning 11 or 12, the Lions winning 11 and the Vikings winning 4 (but being competitive in another 4). Avernus
I'll take Philly, CHI and NE under. as an Eagles fan, I am shocked the number is 10....I would have expected 8.5 or 9....but the Eagles are almost a lock to do better than last year because of all the new players that were added along with a new DC with pretty much no offseason... when you add somewhere around 11 new players with most of them being starters, you should expect the team to underperform for a good portion of the season.... the problem is I have us at 10 or 11 wins with 12 being a best case scenario...even 11 is pushing it to me...and that is with Vick playing at least 13 games...which is a longshot... but if that line moves to 9.5 I would definitely take the over... delusions of grandeur
Hate to be homer here (especially since before this run the Falcons never had back-to-back winning seasons), but Falcons have hit that over the last 4 years. I know it's not good odds for a reason, but if you want a good bet.... But even more realistically, give me the Bucs. They may not be Superbowl bound or anything, but good odds on over 5.5? Hell, I was even going to put a futures bet on them just because it's 65/1, but yeah, 6 wins sounds pretty easily doable with the way they've improved, even in a tough division. Bronco Billy
Early lines for all 17 weeks of the NFL season were released in Vegas this week. injendsm
This is probably a stupid question but I'm going to be in Vegas the first week of July and, if I were to place bets on any of these lines while I'm there and they happen to work out in my favor, would I be able to collect the winnings even though I won't be there at the end of the season? Hopefully the question isn't too off topic.

loaf
4 wins for the Browns? That's how many they won last year. Trent Richardson's good for at least 4 wins by hisself.
Capt. Stanky
As a Bengals fan, I initially get mad at our 7.5. We went 9-7 last year, and had one of the best drafts in the league. Dalton and AJ getting an entire offseason and camp to work together should bring good results. All this being said, I realized that we are talking about the Bengals here. Until they win any meaningful games they haven't done anything. I went back and looked at it. It's been 30 years since the Bengals had back to back winning seasons, and we're talking the strike shortened '82 season no less. The odds makers 7.5 makes even more since now. I still would take the over, that is if I believed in betting on my team.

So you're expeting 8-8 or better? That's pretty optimistic. While I agree Richardson will really help the offense, I'm not sure I'd count 4 additional wins from that. Plus our defense still has some holes (and they're growing with the Fujita suspension, and now the Phil Taylor injury). If you trust it I'd suggest you lay down some cash on them. I agree 4 is too low & would put them @ 6.5 Big question is who is going to be under center ?
stevegrab
I agree 4 is too low & would put them @ 6.5 Big question is who is going to be under center ? Reports say Weeden looked good during rookie camp. But he was having some trouble trying to play under center, with some fumbles on the exchange. Hopefully he'll adapt and overcome after his years playing in the shotgun. I'd be surprised if he doesn't win the competition with McCoy. detlef
I hope they're right about all the NFC West teams besides the Niners. But I think AZ goes over 6.5 and Seattle goes over 7. Hell, for that matter, I think St. Louis goes over 5 and SF goes over 10.
caddyman
I agree 4 is too low & would put them @ 6.5 Big question is who is going to be under center ? Their schedule is pretty tough. They have six division games against teams that most think could win the division. If they go 2-4 in the division I think that is a success. Their remaining ten games are against, Philly(at home), The Giants, Cowboys, Denver, Oakland, all on the road, and then home games against Buffalo, San Diego, Kansas City, Washington, and the Colts. I do not see three wins out of the division. Assumming they win two division games(no guarantee), then 4-12 is about right. It actually could be worse than that. Even though I think they will have a better QB and RB than last year. I just don't see two many games where they are favored to win.
