so, let's trade, but here's why i'm having a beverage...

about a year ago, a friend of my son had some party thing at McDonald's. Since then, he's convinced us to go twice, today being the second one. At the party, my son was 3yo, so I snuck in Good Times. The last time we went to McD's, I had a full meal and nearly puked an hour later. This time, my wife, me, son and 1.5 yo daughter shared a large fries, a burger, and a pack of "chicken" nuggets. I had one "chicken" nugget and ~1/3 of a large fries and my tummy hurts.

But that's not the drinking part... my daughter wanted to follow my son into the playplace thingy. Being a baby, I followed her in so I can keep her safe. At the entrance, I took off my sandals... my feet stuck to the floor. 10 feet in, mysterious liquid. Next level up, my nostrils revolted from the scent of very stale piss. Further in, a food looking substance. Throughout, just a layer of some grease something. We slid down the slide and I ran us to the bathroom to wash up. I'm not sure when the last time it was "cleaned". The kid's urinal was broken, with a deep yellow pool and foul odor. I took my son into the stall to pee. The toilet was filthy, so I lifted the seat and had him stand on the bowl to pee. On the way out, some metal bar something was sticking out and cut my calf open enough to get a good flow of blood and I could only wonder what the fook germs were on it.

I am now having a drink trying not to freak out at the excess amount of germs that we crawled through, slid on, stepped in, and inhaled.

cheers.

oh dear lord I threw up in my mouth a bit at that story

I opened up a nice Clancy Shiraz/Cab/Merlot and am grilling a steak and getting psyched for the C's game.

I went to the site to make you a trade offer and as I looked at our teams I was thinking to myself, why would the two best teams in the league trade with each other, it seems pointless since even though we're in the same division we'll both be in the finals?

1) When my wife is out of town and I eat steak, roasted potatos and arugula salad with lemon nothing can ruin it
2) I am glad that Muto and Relish are there to keep us humble....humble all the way until they break up in a scene as ugly as David Lee Roth leaving Van Halen!

Looks like a love affair is being born right here on the huddle as you two gush over how great both your teams are.

I was thinking of dropping out of the league I mean why play when the best I can do is 3rd place ?

My computer flagged this post.  Said somebody was talking about my team.  You must be confused though.  I just checked and we're not in the same division.

As for the ambiance at the golden arches.  I was laughing because my wife would have spontaneously combusted if faced with your experience.  She coates our little ones in antibacterial stuff after every venture in public as it is.

Ya have to let them eat a little dirt sometime in there life, but you definitely want it to be your own dirt.  (deep thoughts by The Rhinos)

Lol, true rhino. Our daughter picks up our garden dirt, eats some, drops it on her head, throws it at her bro, just a messy girl.

Wow Opie, I'd say that you found the one person drinking more than you to trade Graham to you, but you did give up quite the bounty to get him... But I'd like to think it's similar to my trades for Rice and Richardson, that the only way you can really judge the trade is if it puts either team over the top....

If you got the ammo to pull it off and feel comfortable enough with the rest of your roster, then it's tough to pay too much to pry away a stud... As for the other team, they definitely made out like a bandit, but that's the way it should be... This game would be no fun if it was easy to land a superstud.

My only regret from my trades was not realizing that I was stacking wes with that much cash, but hey, if it can put you over the top

It's a lot easier to overpay for a stud when you have accumulated a lot of first round picks for the minimum along the way you know like swapping back up QBs and getting someone to throw in a 1st round pick.  Stuff like that goes a long way into the final trade like this.  I would forge this path myself in making multiple deals but I lack the jedi mind trick that is needed for such dealings to be made.
