It could happen but these are 3 yr olds. The lure of stud money for a triple crown winner will keep them trying IMO

No 3 year olds with the breeding to run a classic distance will ever be gelded unless they are completely unreasonable. If they are unreasonable, they will never be on the Triple Crown path. We will see a TC winner in the next decade, but it's not easy.

I would not be surpised at all if sometime in the futrue if the Blemont Stakes is shortend to 1-3/8
