I barely hit 5 HR in a week and I'm there already.  Let's hope I can keep it up.

One day every year I get a really big night.  Tuesday was that night.  16 for 36,13-5-11-0-0.444-1.361 with two wins, 23 Ks and a save to go with it.  I'll now spend the rest of the week watching Slayer close the gap.

I am getting crushed but I don't give a crap because I am at the Beach Club at Disney with my family. Bushy, I definitely picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.

Unbelievable.  Seven HRs in one night, making 16 for the week so far.  Problem is, the last three of those destroyed my pitcher's ERA and the last one took a win away.

Even with a batting week like this, the matchup is going to wind up 6-6 or 7-5 or something much closer than what I need to get back into this thing.

Crap... Left Lee and Romero on the bench today.  The only game that had started, when I went to check my lineup.  Would have been nice to get about 15 K's (and a likely W from one or the other).  :bash:

Or 6 K's in 13 innings combined, a combined 6+ ERA, 1.5 WHIP, and a no-decision for both.  I guess that takes the sting out of the roster-mismanagement somewhat, but it still drives me nuts when I do that.

And it's going exactly as predicted.  From 9-2 to 6-5.

ETA:  And my desperate addition to try to get a steal or two isn't starting Sunday.
