LT to announce retirement and sign a 1 day contract with...

After all the crap that AJ Smith talked, I'm surprised by this move. Why does anyone care what team he retires with when we all will remember that his last team was the Jets. When LT goes into the Hall of Fame, it will be as a Charger because that's when all of his HOF stats were made. Why buckle down and do anything with that prick AJ Smith?

terrific years with the Chargers. so fun to watch. only wish there could have been more team success during that time.

and quite honestly, he'd be a better pickup as a backup/3rd down RB than Ronnie Brown.

thanks for the memories LT2!

Have to see the class he is up against to decide if he is a first ballot HOF'er.

Eh?

5th All time leading rusher

3rd All time rushing TD's

NFL record 28 rushing TD's

2006 MVP

That doesn't include his receiving stats.

I'll stop there. 1st ballot HOF'r. Take it to the bank.

ESPN has a poll asking whether LT is a Hall of Famer. 16% have voted no.

That's an incredibly low percentage.

Not trying to make this political but there are probably more people who think that George W and Obama conspired to fly jets into the world trade centers.

It's fine with me if he is, and I think it more than likely that he will be. I'll just wait to see who else is in the class.

When I see class and Tomlinson in the same sentence I remember him pouting on the end of the bench.

When I say "class of the class", I remember his statistical body of work in the NFL.

I agree. I don't get the 1 day signings.
