Adrian Peterson...

I have just started my first draft this season (Huddle Ladder) and found myself in the middle of round 3, after taking Calvin Johnson and Matt Stafford with my 1st 2 picks and wanting to take BPA but with my eyes on a RB. Low and behold Adrian Peterson is still on the board and my immediate feeling was that's just ridiculous because of past years and how he was one of the first players off the board. Then I remembered the ligament tearing on Christmas Eve last year and some doubt crept in. However, with all the positive news on him, I just got a gut feeling that getting him in the middle of the 3rd is great value and that he's going to outperform where he's being drafted this year. After taking him, I began looking around at different places to see what opnions others had about him. Some are saying to avoid him completely as he's going to be a bust, won't be himself for at least half the season or more and that Toby Gerhart will take too much value away. Others feel that he's a Top 10-11 RB and should be drafted by the end of the 2nd round. And very few, but they're out there, feel he is going to be the key draft pick to many fantasy owners' winning teams because he is being had at such a terrific value and that he'll perform like a solid #1 RB and yet you can draft him in the 3rd and 4th rounds after solidying top notch talent at other positions. I am somewhere between the latter 2 opinions and was wondering what you guys felt?

Also, DMD and others, (assuming) as more positive news comes out about ADP during the preseason, you know, him practicing, being taken off the PUP, him playing in preseason games and looking good, the team stating that he'll be ready and the starter for week 1, etc. will you and how much will you move him up the rankings?

Thoughts?
