Phat Rugby
One of the better article done so far. I almost agree with all of it.
Savage Beatings
Wow, this is a great article in a very useful format! Hope you will update as the player rankings/ADPs change in the preseason.
DMD
I will redo it all over for AUG 22. That takes a longer time than you probably realize.

detlef
Agree with others, IMO the best of an otherwise very nice batch of articles.
SecondString
Lot of valuable info and a great report...much appreciated. Using it right now to modify draft priorities. Gotta ask the question though...you cited the Lis Franc injury as a reason for flagging a QB, Schaub as a "bad value" ("LisFranc hard to come back from"). Yet an RB (DMC), with a history of injury absences is returning from the same injury, and gets the "good value" tag in this write-up. How's that? flemingd
"and HOU has such a dominating defense and rushing attack that the pass no longer matters as much anyway." "You know he will have one year where he does not get hurt and is a huge benefit to own. I just feel like it is this year. Yeah I play the lottery - why do you ask?" How is that not crystal clear? DMD
I like McFadden this year and I have never liked him before. For whatever reason, it just feels right to me. There are far more reasons to ding him and avoid him in drafts. But he is also part of a new RB reality. There are precious few RBs anymore than can turn in monster games that almost single-handedly help you win that week. Even though he may not be there all year, when he is there and healthy he is a big difference maker in a position that is in sharp decline for anything more than just moderate scoring each week. SecondString
(Replying to Fleming) I get that slick....my question is about the statement "LisFranc hard to come back from" and how that applies to Schaub,a QB, and not to DMC, the RB. Not trying to be contentious, just wondering if there was a difference in their injuries. Edited August 11, 2012 by SecondString

Fair enough, thanks for the explanation.

He really burned me last year... But I'll take your word on it.. I got him with the 24th pick last year. I thought he and Foster were a great start to last years draft.. Too many injuries
Whiskey Pimp
It seems to me like you should draft DMC and after he goes off for the first 4-5 weeks, ship him off to another owner before he gets hurt.

Jackson and it cost me my division last year but it just feels right to me. Oh yeah, I really like this piece too.
