Sugar Magnolia
He looked terrible. It looked more like nerves than lack of nfl skills, but still....
ABearWithFurniture
It looked more like nerves than lack of nfl skills... That and the complete lack of run blocking by the Ram's o-line...
Scooby's Hubby
The fumble was a delay draw play and that can be worked out in practice. Pead is almost a must for handcuffing SJAX.
lennykravitz2004
During the broadcast in STL yesterday (not NFLN), Marshall Faulk called the game and repeatedly used the phrase "unblocked guy" when the Rams were on O. Until/Unless the O-line gets right, SJax isn't a very good option either.
Sugar Magnolia
This is for dynasty. I've got to decide between Pead, LM James (have Hunter), A Jeffery, or Kueckly. If I was picking before yesterday's game it would have been a no brainer. This is a futures pick not a need now. I'm on the clock with this one <g>

Sugar Magnolia
Saw he was taken at 10, and I had 12. Took Pead--it's done.
Sugar Magnolia
Saw he was taken at 10, and I had 12. Took Pead--it's done. I might have taken Keuchly. I passed on Andy Dalton last year. picking right after his poor first preseason outing, so this is hoping I didn't make the same mistake, basing it on one game. The O-line will get better some day, and don't plan to use him this year unless SJax gets hurt, and MJD doesn't sign.
Furd
I think that placing any significant emphasis on the performance of a healthy player in an exhibition game is foolish.
Sturphy
I think it's too soon to knock him down. I saw the game too, he looked a little tentative to me. Seemed like he was running in one gear. Lennykravitz is right (ha!), Marshall Faulk talked about the OLine a few times.
Hugh B Tool
First preseason game. Nuff said, Pead will be fine. Rams on the otherhand this year?
Sugar Magnolia
Plus Dalton had more critics, whom I passed in the draft, in 2011, than Pead seems to have. It was the "game" plus scouting reports on his NFL ability, that scared me off of Dalton. Pead just has that one game, but scouting reports are pretty promising. A University of Cincinnati grad., I hope he pans out. In my years at UC, starting in '76, I think the football and basketball teams only won a couple of games.
