Company of Heroes
Lots of tough choices at 7/10 but opted for two of the remaining top tier players at their respective positions. Just couldn't decide which RB to roll the dice on.
flemingd
DMD --- Since this is 'best ball', the league should have more players on a roster than 18. More like 24-25 to deal w/ the lack of waivers / trades / FA. TIA. Agree
Company of Heroes
Agree I'm good as is. After all, it is free.
detlef
it is free Man, playing in a free, 8-team league. We're all going to have to turn in our geek cards.
Brentastic
FYI, going to lunch at 1:30 CT. I will be gone for about an hour. Just a head's up if my turn arrives during that time frame. I don't do pre-selects for the most part, especially in the early rounds, because I draft according to how the draft is going.
bostonsoxandy
+1 on the bigger roster because, why not.

Brentastic
Agree on the expanded rosters. If we can average 4 rounds per day, that's only 6 days. So far, we're looking good for that pace.

It should be slower in the daytime than nighttime since most of us work during the day. I usually can sneak a couple checks but nothing too long at work. During the nights I'd imagine we can pound through 3 or 4 rounds each night.
detlef
Just couldn't pull the trigger on Sproles. Not sure why it is, but I just couldn't do it. So I took the other smurf instead.
detlef
OK, so we're not staring 2 QBs are we? Muck?
Zestmon
Wanted to grab Stafford in the 3rd, but I thought it was a no-brainer to pass and pick him up after the Brees and Brady owners.

Zestmon
...I nearly took Matty Ice with 6.01...fyi... The sad thing is, I was more concerned that you would take Ryan in the 5-6th horn than I was of you taking Stafford during the 3-4th horn. You've got me on my toes... muck
I've pre-selected my next four picks ... if I hold anything up, I'm sorry ... but, I'm (probably) awol until tomorrow AM.

I was gonna take Stafford next. Nice pick. Anyways, barely 12 hours old (this draft) and we're at pick 9.07 right now. Not bad, girls So I'm gonna assume we're doing 24 rounds, eh? You bet I do. I think Gronk and Graham have an excellent chance of coming back down to earth this season. I think Gates has just as good a chance of getting over 1,000 yards as those guys. Rivers will throw 30 TDs this season and Gates might catch half of them.
delusions of grandeur
I know 8 teams goes faster, but 10 rounds of a slow draft in one day? Never seen anything like that before. Id tell you FF crackheads to slow down, but I'm in awe of your blatant disregard of real world responsibilities
muck
Slow draft? What's that? 82 picks in about 13hrs ... not too shabby. GB pre-select and leaguemates who know how to use it.
