Best Defenses in '12

I do a fair amount of schedule analysis so am wondering who everyone thinks will be the toughest D's to play against this year (rather than best D's from a fantasy perspective).

Here are the teams that come to mind:

SF

Pitt

Balty

Jets

Seattle

Chicago

Houston

Also any ideas on teams that might be off the radar? maybe Cincy or Buffalo?

I almost took Houston, but believe they'll be there next round. Took Osweiler instead, dynasty league. Many top Ds are still on board, so I should be OK when it swings back around unless a run occurs...which likely will since my next turn is coming, everyone knows I need a D and will try to feck me even though they have 3-5 more picks. Argh, glad I thought of this now.

Seems no true standouts this year like in past. More options to get a solid D than in past when Steelers, Balt, Chi, etc were guarantees every year. Those are still strong, but more teams have 'caught up' due to aging. Steelers are doing a good job replacing guys for instance, but there will be a mini-dip while the new DL learns the full ropes. So some teams have made a move.

Falcons, on account of I drafted them late. This may be one of them DEFBC seasons for me.

Sometimes I'd throw a mid round pick at a D, but more often than not it seems like the projections could be made with a dart board. I wasn't willing to spend much for a defense this year.

I know the huddle cheat sheet listed GB as their #1 and I wasn't buying it until I heard John Clayton point out that they play the NFC west this year and will be seeing 5 teams with rookie QBs.

Grant it, they have NO at home and Detroit twice. The Giants...meh.

Chicago has to prove Cutler can run this offense. If Minnesota doesn't strike a running game with AP, then Ponder doesn't exactly send shivers down my spine.

If Rodgers & co can keep the defense of the field....I'll drink the cool aid.

Houston, and to a slightly lesser extent, Buffalo. I also like Atlanta and Seattle if you can play matchups (and mainly play them when they're at home). I'm finding that, this year, I'm tending to draft two defenses in most leagues, to give myself options... I'm not sure there are any/many defenses out there that I'd be comfortable with, each and every week.
