Gourdeau
Anyone else like what they see in this kid? I'm hoping he gets the starting job at some point, not that I hope Smith gets injured as I never wish that on any player. He is a lot quicker than I thought he was, showed some nice moves out there tonight, he should be credited with 2 td's tonight.
DLions20
saw him in the game tonight. did really well. should replace KS early in the season. maybe even by week 3 when he comes back from the suspension

Leshoure is a power back with a 2.2ypc in the pre-season. Sure he had a nice night with a GL punch in, but to suggest he replaces a healthy K.Smith is kinda looney. gilthorp
Takes over by week #6 and becomes a strong fantasy option. Production wise, look at the numbers DeMarco Murray put up last year, and that's what I'm seeing from him. This kid was nails in Champaign. 3rd and schlong
Det will continue to throw, and do well at it. Leshoure may have a decent season (splitting carries with Smith and possibly even best), but to think he will put up serious numbers is a little bit of a stretch.

Bronco Billy
I've always remembered Leshoure as having 1 good year at Illinois and not performing well against the top teams, but punishing bad Ds in that one good year. But opportunity is certainly knocking. He may never have a better chance to kick off his NFL career than this year.
bostonsoxandy
Dumbass. That is all.

I seem to only see praise for Kevin Smith in fantasy circles. He's nothing special if you watch him play every week.
brg88tx
Lions OC Scott Linehan expects Mikel Leshoure to contribute immediately once he returns from suspension in Week 3. "Get his pads on and give him the ball," Linehan said. Leshoure is coming off a career-threatening Achilles injury and averaged just over 2.0 YPC in preseason action. We believe Kevin Smith is locked in as the lead back, with Leshoure likely limited primarily to short-yardage and clock-killing work. Taking into account Smith's injury history, however, Leshoure should be owned as a stash in 12-team leagues.
