The Irish Doggy
This year I stated a 16 team kickers-only auction BOTH league. We call it KICKASS!FFL. Not because of the kickers, but because we are all kick-ass fantasy managers who love a challenge. You start with $2 and minimum bid is $1. It gets heated let me tell you. Zooty
You may find that few here care whether you won a league last year. Congrats on that and all, but the information tells us nothing as we don't know your league and it comes off poorly. Everybody here also won their league last year. We also are unusually well endowed, have beautiful wifes and or girlfriends, are better than average drivers, and exceed the norm in height, strength, footspeed, sexual prowess and income. Look at the new guy thinking people care what he says
Gopher
Player values are all relative, so the size of the league really has nothing to do with whether or not you're an expert. Besides, who your leaguemates are determines how challenging the league is, not the format. I've tried everything from 8 to 32, and each has unique qualities. If you want a true challenge, join a BOTH league or two (regardless of size), and stay away from the Yahoo/free leagues.

Pope Flick
32 Homers is my tiniest league by a long shot.
keggerz
There are tweaks that can be done to make all leagues fun...but my favorite format would be 16 team IDP dynasty/contract leagues...we drafted 816 players in the Full Impact IDP league
