KOKIDKOKID
I didn't get to see the whole game but did Forte leave for the lockeroom in the 3rd quarter and not return? Anyone know what happened? Thanks. KO'd

hezagenius
ouchie. Yeah, didn't look good. Ankles don't normally bend that way. Don't want to speculate on the extent of the injury but I would think if it was minor, he would have been back in the game given it was a divisional opponent. Hopefully it was more precautionary to take him out and it's something he can bounce back from quickly.
Wolverines Fan
I've been listening to the Bears flagship radio station. No news yet. Edit: They asked Lovie about Forte after the game. All he said was yes, Forte has an ankle injury. Double Agent
Watched the replay and it didn't look that bad (like in a break). Sure looks like the type that could be a high ankle sprain though.

damageinc
The Bears believe the injury that knocked Matt Forte out of Thursday's game is a high-ankle sprainThis comes as no surprise to anyone who saw the replay of Forte twisting the ankle under Charles Woodson's knee. It's horrendous news for Forte's fantasy value, as he was playing at perhaps the highest level of his career. High-ankle sprains typically keep a skill-position player sidelined four weeks, limiting the ability to make cuts at peak form even longer. It's quite possible Forte may not recapture his pre-injury explosiveness the rest of the season. A must-own in all formats, Michael Bush will take over as a three-down back in the meantime. Bronco Billy
A running back gets paid and then gets hurt...who woulda thought? What point are you trying to make? That because Forte got the contract he earned that he choreographed getting his ankle rolled up from behind?

wpayers
Only week 2 and the RB injury buzzsaw is humming...who has more value now - MBush or CJ Spiller?
delfamdelfam
Only week 2 and the RB injury buzzsaw is humming...who has more value now - MBush or CJ Spiller? probably about the same. Maybe slight bump to spiller in ppr but Bush showed great pash catching ability in Oakland, if Chicago continues to use him like Forte they should have comparable value. NURed94
Feel bad for Forte owners. I tried my first auction league, ended up with both Brees and Eli. This week I offered a guy with Mark Sanchez and Josh Freeman as his QB's a trade of Eli for Forte. He countered with Brees for Forte. Lol..no thanks. Good luck with Sanchez! Pure coincidence of course, but interesting to note. That's all...carry on.

awahl63
Well week 6 is our BYE so he will probably get worked back in to the offense week 7. Regardless of whether or not he is the "starter" I see him getting 10-15 touches while Bush continues to shoulder the load. Poor Forte and poor me for drafting him
bushwacked
while Bush continues to shoulder the load. Don't agree, Forte is one of the most dynamic backs in the league who will get plenty of handoffs and receptions when healthy.
