dfv87 Posted September 14, 2012 Share Posted September 14, 2012 I have had a bad juju working since last year in FF so i put it to the test this year in the draft of my "buddies" league... Not much money but much Smack league... I took Rodgers saying it was as much for the FF as it was for bringing that bad juju to the Pack! Well so far this year I seem to be doing all I can to help the cause, so we need some NFL teams to pick up the pace. Chi had a great opportunity last night as Rodgers didnt play bad but was normal... Albeit he did get hurt by some drops. Cmon I am not sure how long this bad juju can hold down the pack qb but it would be nice if they could lose a few more games before it does go away. Go Vikes! cliaz Posted September 15, 2012 Share Posted September 15, 2012 I had a streak of 3 years where no matter what player I drafted, they just became a total bust one way or the other. It sucked big time and I almost quit playing ff because of it. I'm talking about seasons where there were no more than 4 wins a year at most kind of bad. Major injuries killed me. It was pretty brutal and I think the absolute lowest point for me was when my neighbor joined my league having never played ff before. I am a skins fan and he is a cowboys fan. Every time we played any type of game, he beat me. I am really good at darts and at my best, I closed out a board on a game of cut throat cricket in 3 rounds. He owned me every time but wasn't that good of a dart player over all. Cards, racing games - own me. I refuse to play Madden with him anymore. Well, this was the beginning of the 3rd year of sorrow for me and he joins by taking over the team of an owner in my division. He bragged that he knew it all (you all know that newbie 'I know the secrets to fantasy football' crap they spew). I went 0-5 and he went 5-0 and scored highest points for 3 of those weeks. After watching my team get me a combined ZERO TDs - earning my 5th loss (to him) while also pissed off from watching the skins lose horribly I went out to start BBQ'ing in the back yard. He came out and talked all sorts of smack and I was so pissed off i snapped and threw my BBQ over the fence at him.
