detlef
of course that can happen, and that's why any mutually agreed upon trade is "legitimate" and shouldn't be voted on or overruled. the odds, however, are poor. According to you, poor enough to call out a league for being a bunch of idiots. According to me, just long enough that I don't make the trade but not so long that I go overboard. According to some, it seems, not at all long.
Azazello1313
According to you, poor enough to call out a league for being a bunch of idiots. when you have n00bs trading away their 3rd round pick for a kick returner week 2, yes, to me that indicates a league that sucks. I've been in enough leagues like that (it really only takes a couple) to recognize the phenomenon.

I've been in enough leagues like that (it really only takes a couple) to recognize the phenomenon. I think 2 things bear mention. 1) He wouldn't be a 3rd round pick if drafts were held today. Hell, Tuvey has him at 23 among WRs in the rest of the season rankings and you have to assume there's at least 15 RBs and 5 QBs who'd be ahead of him as well. So, now you're talking 4th-5th rounder 2) Don't get too worked up about 3rd rounders. Here's a list of 2011 MFL ADP 24-36 that didn't exactly light it up: Peyton Hillis, Reggie Wayne, DeShaun Jackson, Dwayne Bowe (not bad, mind you), LaGarrette Blount, Antonio Gates (also, not exactly bad and did miss 3 games), Peyton Manning, Then there's Miles Austin and A Bradshaw who put up good pts per game but not overall. So, that leaves V Jackson, Mike Wallace, and Tony Romo as guys taken in the 3rd round that you were generally happy you drafted where you did, None, however, that did so well that you truly felt like you got over or anything.
