Moderator: Welcome to this Monday's meeting of Fantasy Over-Thinkers Anonymous. Who would like to speak first? Atlas?

Atlas: Hi. My name is Atlas and I'm a Fantasy Over-Thinker.

Group: Hi Atlas.

Moderator: Why don't you tell us about your last couple weekends.

Atlas: Well, I had got real lucky and got AP in the third round of my draft. I was ecstatic. Then later, I grabbed Gerhart. That's when my problems started.

See, AP wasn't a sure thing. He's coming off the surgery. He wasn't being hit in practice. It went from an anouncement on Saturday to a game time decsion. I couldn't resist. I figured if he played, he would be limited. I started Gerhart. He had a great preseason.

Moderator: And what happened?

Atlas: AP goes for 2 TD's.

Moderator: and what's our motto? Group?

Group: (In unison) Always start your studs.

Moderator: And what about this weekend?

Atlas: Well, after that horrible performance by GB DST in week one, I started second guessing my draft. I thought that GB played a weak enough schedule and had enough rookie QBs that they would take advantage of the sacks and INTs. But they looked putrid angainst San Francisco.

Moderator: And?

Atlas: The Oakland DST was available on my waiver wire. Sitting there all by themselves. I got them for a dollar! They were playing Miami for heavens sake! Miami!! They scored ONE point. One stinken' point!

Moderator: And Green Bay?

Atlas: 7 sacks and 4 interceptions. 20 points.

Moderator: And how did your teams do?

Atlas; Won both games

Moderator: It appears that you are what we call a "Functional Over-thinker". You can go through life and no one would ever suspect that you are leaving all those points on your bench because you cover it up well. But with time, its going to cost you. Maybe not this week. Maybe not next. But one weekend you're going to reach for that over-think bottle one time too many and end up on the wrong end of the scoring.

Moderator: Anyone else like to speak?

Started Stevan Ridley over Sproles in a PPR league, Started Jets D over Bears D in same league, Started Stafford over Alex Smith...

Still won and got the second highest weekly score because of Gore, Cruz, Bowe and Malcolm Floyd.

Too funny. One of my teams, I have Stafford & RGIII. That was like straight crack when it came to over-thinking this past week. Went with Stafford, I won, but still. Same dilemma this week, but through self-therapy I'm now at peace leaving Stafford in place. Being 2-0 helps with this peace.
