NOSaint237
I see Daniel Fells as the next TE on the depth chart. Im thinking Welker gets more involved along with an uptick in Edelman's stats.
Pope Flick
Gronk, just like last year.
NOSaint237
I jus looked up last years stats when Hernandez was out week 3 and 4. Welker went off big time. Gronk went off in week 3 and held to one catch in week 4.
Pope Flick
Can I have a 7 catch 109 yard game with 2 TDs for Gronk on that same week, Alex?
White lightning
I am hoping against hope Welker picks up the slack like last year when Hernandez got hurt. This could be great news for worried WW owners like myself. In my dream scenario WW goes off in weeks 3-4, P.Harvin/Cruz have subpar games, and I can convice the owners of either to part with them for a WW/(third tier RB) combo. NOSaint237
Im actually hoping Edelman emerges out of it.
stevegrab
What about the other Gronkowski, why don't they sign him and use Gronk1 and Gronk2? (Dan Gronkowski was with the Browns, but I believe he was cut before week 1.)
historymike
"Who Fills Hernandez's Void?" was the question. Â Gronkowski is the answer to almost all permutations of this question, including the hidden Tebow reference in the question posed by the original poster. Sorry: had to go there. Czarina
The game plan should change, however, there is seriously something afoot with Welker as a member of the Pats. I don't know whether McDaniels doesn't like him, Belichick has cast him out or what, but it was abundantly clear that while the offense was more effective with him involved, they don't choose to involve him. Â Welker's role in the past essentially took the place of a running game, and they seem to have found something of a running game. That may also account for his diminished role. Â Edelman pretty well sucks. Don't expect much there, although they seem intent on forcing him onto the field.
