snoop2
Harry Douglas in now for Julio....Did he get hurt?
PPIchamp
I noticed that too, we owners are getting the shaft hard right now. I need 9.5 more freakin points between him, Bryant and Von!
Knarl
I haven't seen the whole game, but I saw one easy pass he dropped in the end zone. Maybe he's getting David Wilson'd.
flemingd
He was in on that TD to Roddy, other side of field.
Detfed91
I don't think they'd bench him for dropping a pass. He did seem to favor his arm after that play though. He was right back in an played a lot afterwards. He made two catches in the last drive, then was gone.
Detfed91
@flemingd - you are right. Just rewound it and he was out there. Whew! :-)

Detfed91
He still looked like the #3 WR the last 1.5 series....Douglas was out there in the 2 WR sets.

Tripleshot
Exactly. More than a few good receivers are going to have frustrating nights against the Broncos secondary. If they're lucky, they'll get to play against the Lions this year, where they'll more than make up for it.
delusions of grandeur
Looked like a good bit of coverage his way, but still stunned they didnt even try after just a couple drops early that should have been money... But thus is the downfall of reading too much into the first 2 weeks. Ryan obviously didn't have a problem throwing where they were clearly open, so it might well just be a case of keeping defenses honest. Though as a Julio owner, it was definitely frustrating... Tripleshot
As a Roddy White owner, I couldn't be more thrilled with Julio's first week explosion(even though Theohiostate had him going against me in a BoTH league). Let the other team's top cover man take Julio every week now.

keggerz
Ouch! Are you still walking bow-legged from that kick to the fruits? I am sure it will hurt more if it costs me a playoff spot later in the year since it was a divisional game. fwiw, this was in the Full Impact IDP league and I left Ray Lewis and his 16 points on the bench...the DT that I started over him scored 1.6 points...but with the new concept get this...if I had started Lewis I would have LOST by 9.18 points

What new concept causes this? one guy scores 1.6, the other 16, but if you started the guy that scored 16 (14.4 more than the other) you lose by more points (9.18 instead of 1.51)? Shouldn't starting the players that score more points result in a higher score?

NOPE Full Impact IDP has a twist in that depending on the defensive set that you start you impact your opponents offense players differently...just like if an NFL team stacks the box...the RB will likely be limited but big plays could abound for the QB/WR Here is a copy of our impact scoring (notice the difference between #8(which I played) vs #7(if I would have played Ray Ray) Link to scoring: http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/379319-full-impact-idp-rules/#entry3675092 5.4.1 "Full Impact" Scoring The twist of this league is that your defensive lineup will impact your opponents offensive players scores. "Full Impact" scoring adjustments will also be done in decimal scoring. Decimal Scoring will be to the 100ths (IE: -3.45 points) When "Full Impact" scoring is done, numbers will be rounded up from 5. IE: -2.235 would be adjusted as -2.24 and -3.644 would be -3.64. Your oppositions offensive scores will be adjusted based on the defensive alignment that you start. The following defensive alignments indicate how the listed positions will be adjusted. 3-4 #1 DE2, DT1, LB4, CB2, S2......QB: -5%,RB: +10%, WR: -5%, TE: n/a 4-3 #2 DE2, DT2, LB3, CB2, S2......QB: +5%, RB: -10%, WR: n/a, TE: +5% Nickel(3-3-5, 4-2-5 or "Big Nickel") #3 DE2, DT1, LB3, CB3, S2......QB: -5%, RB: +10%, WR: -5%, TE: n/a #4 DE2, DT2, LB2, CB3, S2......QB: -10%, RB: +10%, WR: -10%, TE: +10% #5 DE2, DT2, LB2, CB2, S3......QB: -5%, RB: +5%, WR: +5%, TE: -5% Dime (4-1-6) #6 DE2, DT2, LB1, CB4, S2......QB: -10%, RB: +30%, WR: -10%, TE: -10% Prevent (3-1-7 or 4-0-7) #7 DE2, DT1, LB1, CB4, S3......QB: -15%, RB: +40%, WR: -15%, TE: -10% #8 DE2, DT2, LB0, CB4, S3......QB: -30%, RB: +50%, WR: -30%, TE:+10% 8 in the Box (4-4-3) #9 DE2, DT2, LB4, CB2, S1......QB: +20%, RB: -40%, WR: +20%, TE: n/a Goal line (5-4-2) #10 DE2, DT3, LB4, CB2, S0......QB: +30%, RB: -50%, WR: +10%, TE: +10% An offensive player can score negative points, and if they do score negative points then "full impact adjustments" will not be made to that players score. Simply put, if a player scores negative points then they stay the same.
Tripleshot
Now that's just sick. You adjust your starting IDPs to counter your opponent's offensive strengths each week. I'm curious though, since you have to draft so many defensive players, how long did your draft take? And can you imagine trying to score your weekly totals for this format by hand from box scores in the Monday and Tuesday sports sections like we did back in the old days?
