bostonsoxandy
Hopefully he can catch on fast, Pats need someone to step up now.
STL Fan
I'd bet it's more likely to just give an occasional breather to Gronk. No way he has the skills to step in and do what Hernandez does. They'd be better off giving those snaps to Welker or Edelman.

Excuse you? I know he's not what he was and always had "issues" but he's well worth a flyer to say the least. A typically smart NE low-risk, high-upside move. Plus who knows, being on a team like NE could motivate.

But I don't think motivation was ever his problem. It was always attitude & knees.
e5volcano
Pats also signed Branch, who do you guys think is worth more of a pickup?

It was always attitude & knees. and being a knucklehead (the MC crash while stunting, which tore up the one knee and prevented him from being a great TE)

He might have a game or two where he might could have been a starter, but I wouldn't expect much.
