WildTurkey Posted September 23, 2012 Share Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) I've never been to a Raiders game but I've been to an A's game ... Oakland is a different kind of place, no doubt. Kind of a blue collar area next to a city with one of the highest standards of living in the USA. So needless to say you didn't see any wine and cheese in the tailgate area like you might see around AT&T Park/Candlestick. That vibe kinda carries over into the Black Hole I would bet. Just like any party with football as a backdrop you're going to have folks that know the game and those that are there for the show. But given the Raiders history over the past decade since the Gruden years, I'm thinking anyone you see in spiked Legion of Doom shoulder pads with squirrel skull earrings in blackface with a doo rag and a silver grill probably won't be up for intelligent debate on the merits of zone vs. angle blocking.
