Big John
You do realize that the line of scrimmage was the 14 and he threw it from the 15?
Pope Flick
Inconclusive. In the air when the ball left his hand. Flag never should have been picked up. Home cooking all the way.

stevegrab
Why are we talking about a play from a CHI-GB game in 1989?
Hugh 0ne
Why are we talking about a play from a CHI-GB game in 1989? Same reason we're talking about a missed PI call?

MikesVikes
The QB has to be completely across the Line of scrimmage for the call. How many times did the Bears benefit from Majkowski playing?
stevegrab
Same reason we're talking about a missed PI call? Really, so any old bad call from over 10 years ago is going to get dredged up? The thread title kind if implies it iss more video from the bad call last night.

Ditkaless Wonders
Time then to dredge up the S.F. game. It was a clear fumble and a clear Packer recovery.
stevegrab
How about we go back to the first forward pass, was that even a legal play?
