lkirc
I have mixed feelings about Marshall. I have always liked him from a fantasy perspective and had high expectations for him this year, but I don't feel all warm and fuzzy about him right now. I have always viewed him as an elite talent you just plugged in your lineup and slept like a baby. Is he still that guy or is he more of a second tier matchup guy now? The drops and Cutler's inconsistency have taken away some of my excitement. Will he turn it around or is there too much dysfunction in the Bear's offense to expect anything other than hit and miss performances? Pros: Elite talent and size Lots of targets Red Zone Target Cons: Cutler O-line His hands sometimes turn into frying pans (especially in the RZ) Offensive Philosophy Thoughts? rajncajn
I think one of the main problems is Cutler thinks he is Stafford & Marshall is Megatron and defenses are playing them that way. When Chicago gets a little more balanced and Marshall isn't the main focus then I think his production will pick up again.
Bronco Billy
That O-line is the cause of many woes in CHI. Hard to push the ball downfield when the QB is on his ass covered with 600 lbs of DLs.
Furd
The guy hasn't been a stud (at least as I define the term) since he left Denver.
Hugh 0ne
Cutler blows. Well, maybe that's a teenie bit harsh, but he's wildly inconsistent which results in supressing Marshall's numbers to some degree. I'm benching Marshall this week for Decker, Jerome Simpson, and Torrey Smith. When Cutler has a good matchup, Marshall is a good start, but imo he's not a sure start every week. I think he is going to be boom or bust regardless of the matchup. It will be very frustrating trying to figure out when Cutler is going to blow up and/or the Cutler/Marshall combo. Be prepared to let him drop some poopy games for you to have that 11 catch 150 yard 1 TD performance

My other option is Ahmad Bradshaw & right now I'm going with him because I think he has something to prove.

I drank the reunion with cutler kumbaya kool-aid on multiple teams this year and just don't know if he warrants an every week start with all the uncertainty and inconsistency. I guess it all depends on what other options I have. Thanks for the input.

Same here, and thought week 1 was a great confirmation of my gut feeling, now I'm not so sure... I'm willing to keep him in there the next couple weeks to find out a little more though. Through 3 weeks he's had 1 great game, 1 stinker, and 1 ok... I'll let it play out a little longer to see what happens.
