Seahawk
I'm not sure if this question belongs here, or in another forum. Sorry if I put it in the wrong one. I'm in a 12 team league / 2 QB league espn standard scoring. Each team is allowed to roster 3 QB's max. My QB's are Cam Newton, Philip Rivers and Brandon Weeden. This is the first time playing this format. My question is. I imagine that some teams only have two QBs some maybe even one. As it happened in are league. One team has only one QB as the Auto draft screwed him and drafted Skelton and Tannihill in the later rounds and drafted Rice, AP and Richardson in the first three rounds.. Sorry this question is taking along time to get to. Here it is, do the two bye weeks play a critical roll in your season enough to carry three QB's when your third QB isn't that great. Second, if not, have you used that third QB as trade bait and what kind value would a Rivers or better yet a Weeden have considering one of the teams in my league has only Tannihill for the rest of the season. notamomo
I play in a 10-team 2 QB league with no roster limits for QBs. It's also a 5 player keeper league. QB value is a hot topic and desperate owners sometimes trade quality players (Forte) for average QBs (Sanchez) as happened this season, just to fill bye weeks or replace injured/benched starters. My opinion is that getting a 0 from your QB2 spot for two bye weeks isn't really that bad depending on your scoring format and how you're sitting for playoff positioning. If you're likely going to make it to the post-season even with two mediocre scoring weeks while you play only one QB, what's the big deal? I think there is an emotional component to going into a week knowing that you have one roster spot that will definitely get no points. But I don't think it means that much if you're going to compete for the title later in the season. This 2 QB league has been around for 6 years and it's crazy how some teams value QBs, some teams horde them, and some will draft a guy like Weeden in the 3rd round. Hope that helps... Jackass
if you go down to 2 qb's and one of your guys gets hurt will you be easily able to get the backup?
jetsfan
I play in a ten team, two QB league. The quarterback is one of the highest value positions and there are zero starters on the waiver. I would think trading a QB to a needy team would land you top RB or WR talent.
