Should have been scored a forward pass. I was expecting a scoring change today that didn't happen.

Stat changes won't be published by Elias on MFL until tomorrow (around 10 am I think)...and I don't know how you can definitively say it was/wasn't a forward pass...here are two images of the play...the 1st as Ben lets go of the ball...note the yellow line and where it is compared to the X yard line...the 2nd image is a fraction of a second before Mendy catches the ball...and I mean a fraction of a second...note that Ben has fallen back from his release point but the line is still where he initially threw the ball from

This is going to be significant for Roethlisberger owners and to a much lesser degree Mendenhall owners. From ESPN, http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/8487929/ben-roethlisberger-awarded-touchdown-pass-stats-change

The Elias Sports Bureau, official statistician of the NFL, issued a stats change on Wednesday awarding a 13-yard touchdown pass to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on what had been a touchdown run for Rashard Mendenhall in Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Roethlisberger's pass in the second quarter originally had been ruled a lateral (travelling backward) and not as travelling forward, as required to qualify as an official pass attempt.

As a result of this scoring change, Roethlisberger will be awarded 13 passing yards and a passing touchdown, while Mendenhall will lose 13 yards rushing and will gain 13 yards receiving.

Also, a play from Week 4 takes away a sack fromHouston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt against the Miami Dolphins. Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers now leads the league in sacks with with eight, 1/2 more than Watt.
