They should be winning this game handily, Rogers cant complete a pass and the D can't stop Luck?? Wow, they are going to be lucky to be a .500 team this year.

The Pack just doesn't look like themselves. I don't know exactly what to pin this on. it's likely a combination of things. I don't see their line pass blocking as well as they have in the past. Rodgers is under way too much pressure. I don't see their running backs making plays in the passing game, the screens for long yardage, etc.. Benson can catch it, but he's still a plodder with little wiggle after the catch. Not having Jennings hurts tremendously. As he is the normal guy to get double coverage, teams can now roll that over to Jordy instead. While Jones did catch a couple TDs today, they're nowhere near as good as when they have Jennings in there. And the defense just isn't getting their typical big plays and turnovers. Now, I fully expected somewhat of a letdown from last year. Hell, that's hard to duplicate. But I didn't expect this. They'll get back on track eventually, but with the VIkings and Bears winning, I hope it's soon before they dig too deep of a hole.

I was at the game, you can pin this one on Rodgers. He held on to the ball way too long and took some bad sacks. The Colts were missing two of their top three cornerbacks and their middle linebacker. When the Packers went with the quick passing game, they had success. Rodgers looked like he was waiting to try to bomb it downfield on every play in the second half. They didn't run the ball against a poor Colts running defense. And the Packers D-line was kept in check by one of the worst offensive lines ever pieced together. The starting center was called off the practice squad, their LG is a third stringer, and at one point, they had a fourth string guard in on the right side.

Feeling a little snake bit at this point.

Having the Luck fumble ruled a shot to his melon struck me as harsh. There was an inexplicable pass interference call. To me none of that mattered so much as Raji going out. Once he was out the Colts were able to run and Luck was able to step up into the pocket to avoid the pass rush.

In the end they didn't make plays when the Colts did. Now it is on the road again to an even tougher opponent and now the Packers are not as healthy as they have been. They are going to have to suck it up and find a way to manufacture 9 wins in the next 11 or be home watching when the playoffs roll around. Right now there is no indication that they can do so, but I will keep hope alive if wounded and suffering.

He did the same thing in Week 3 and then apologized to NFL fans on behalf of the refs. After losing to a rookie QB 2 times in 3 weeks; it looks like he needs to come up with a different apology this time.

It was because he led with the top of his helmet, not because it was helmet-to-helmet. Not allowed to hit a QB like that in today's NFL.

Yeah, I was at the game, so I haven't seen the replay, but it sure looked like offensive pass interference to me. However, Reggie Wayne was mugged in the end zone on first down and it wasn't called, leading to a FG instead of first and goal at the one. And the Pack held Donnie Avery's arm down in the end zone on a deep pass. Should have been called as well.

Right now they remind me of a Packer team a little while back, can't remember which year(s), that I felt could beat any team in the league easily and also lose to any team. The old 'playing to the level of your opponent'.

Absolutely no passion after they got the lead. It was almost like it was a preseason game.

You think 10-6 wouldn't get them in? That's a long ways away right now and GB has to find some passion to play and a killer instinct, but given the way so many teams are so middling, that would seem to get them in.

Still one of the most dangerous teams on paper. They need to get to the bye at 5-4, nothing less. 5/7 after the bye are in their division with a NYG team mixed in there. The Pack pretty much can control the division still and that's all that really matters.

Some yeasrs that is good enough. Hell we have seen years were much less is good enough, but many years we are looking to tiebreakers between the several 10-6 clubs and thus far the Packers have hurt themselves in that category taking two conference losses already.

At least in the division they are clean.

I keep seeing flickers of life, some positive signs that the young defense is growing and that the offense is getting closer to finding its rythme, but the season is rapidly slipping away.

At the begining of the year I had the Packers losing to the 49ers, the Saints and Houston before the bye. I figured after the bye they could come out and run the table if healthy. There were, I figured, going to be growing pains for a defense featuring 5 rookies. I also figured the offense would miss Philbin and Wells.

It is not too late to salvage the season. Theoretically they could even do so if they lose their next two road games. My feeling, however, is that if they do not win one of the next two, and do not at least play the other one tough the season is lost.

That apology would be saying he's sorry his playmaking WR is hurt?
