MnLefty
Haven't carried a back up to Brady all season, now I need somebody to cover the bye week. I had targeted Freeman last week but I missed out to a slightly higher bid, so my options are: Cutler @ Ten Palmer vs. TB then I see a big drop to guys like: Hasselback vs. CHI - no thanks Cassel @ SD -no thanks Skelton @ GB - um.. no Ponder @ SEA R. Wilson vs. MN Gabbert vs. Det Weeden vs. Bal The only matchups I like in the bottom group are Gabbert and Skelton, and I don't think I could actually pull the trigger on those... had my eye on Weeden, he actually threw for 320 @ Baltimore earlier, but his clunker against SD scares me. So it looks like Cutler vs. Palmer. I like the Cutler matchup a bit better, but Palmer has been outscoring Cutler regularly and I'm also starting Forte and Marshall, so I fear putting all my eggs in the Bears offense basket. Anybody have a good reason to talk me OUT of Carson Palmer? Or can anybody make a REALLY compelling case for one of the other lesser matchups? Like the fact that the Vikings have been torched by the other 2 rookie QB's they've faced on the road this year.. (RG3 & Luck).
Anthrax1
I like Weeden. The rain had something to do with his low total and he should bounce back this week.
chiroacademy
Palmer I would like Cutler better if A. Jeffreys was playing and he had more options to go to. His last two games he has thrown for under 200 yards. Teams are keying Marshall.
injendsm
I like Weeden. The rain had something to do with his low total and he should bounce back this week. Mark me down as another person for Weeden. He played pretty well against Baltimore the last time he faced them and that was a road game. Now at home, and with better chemistry with his wideouts, he should have another solid performance. mikestrike
Palmer should have a decent game. I'd agree on Weeden, but I never like betting against a team like Baltimore, Ray Lewis or not.
codesterpwnage
I'd go with Palmer, TB's pass defense has been awful - and with DHB back now, Palmer should have no trouble spreading the ball around.
DUBB2012
I'd go Palmer
MnLefty
Palmer is the plan. He's been fairly solid/consistent in my league... 19,20,26, 8 @ Den, 20,24,20... much steadier than I was giving him credit for. I'll take something around 20 and smile if I can get it.
