Random thought on RG III

Alright, so discounting, London Fletcher, Alfred Morris, Fred Davis and Pierre Garcon, RG III is on a team that he is just too good for. Their defense does not get to the ball, and with Davis and Garcon out, there is no consistent receiver left. Nearly half of Griffin's TDs came from rushing the ball himself when he couldn't find a better option.

Now what if RG III played for a different garbage team? Let's look at Oakland. Needs improvement at O-line, defense is getting old, injury prone, and they're pulling at strings to get replacements to hold it together, but they still show more stopping power than the Redskins have. Plus, Oakland's head coach was once a defensive coordinator for Denver and NO back when they were good(well, Denver still is).

Then let's look at the receiver core. Solid all around with Heyward-Bey, Denarius Moore, rookie Rod Streater, and Brandon Myers. None of them are elite caliber in my mind, but they catch balls, something the Redskins backups can't seem to do.

At RB, despite being injury prone, you have to respect DMC, and once they have an O-line that can make openings for him, he's at least on par with Morris in Washington.

On a team like the Raiders, I could see Griffin going straight to the playoffs, even with Peyton's competition on the Broncos.

Any other garbage teams that could take off if they just had a QB like Griffin?

OK I'll Bite ....

How about the Cardinals? With someone like RGIII in the backfield, they could let him play QB and RB thereby eliminating a position and allowing them to insert an extra (albeit incapable) offensive lineman into the game. Maybe if they had one more O-lineman on every play they could slow down the pass rush long enough for RGIII to get out of the pocket .. and he would have receivers like Fitzgerald, Roberts, Floyd and Housler to chuck it too.

Hmmmmmm

Nahhhh

say the browns didn't trade the 6th pick in 2010 and they took Julio Jones.

Say the browns were able to pull off the trade to move up to take RG III.

That would be a sweet duo for years to come.

Of course, there'd be no Trent Richardson but...
