Patriots
Anyone going after this D in trade. I am thinking if someone is near the cellar at this point in the season they might be apt to give up the Chicago D for a RB 2. So if your deep at RB do you think its worth to try to grab them for the playoff run?
chinatown dragons
Yes, in our league scoring, they are playing/averaging better than a RB2! guy in our league whas Bears is in 2nd, largely due to the D, so doubt he'd trade him but if you can get them, I'd go for it. they have scored 101 points, next closest D is Houston, at 66, thats a wide margin! Scorcher
I have them in one league and would not give them up. The have been the highest scorer on my team on more than one occasion.
nelsosi
I doubt there are many leagues where the Chicago owner is near the cellar
Patriots
In one of my leagues they are available. Guy wants Reggie Bush for them. I have highest point total in league so I am considering it. Just working out the details now.
stevegrab
I doubt there are many leagues where the Chicago owner is near the cellar Possibly but it isn't solely because of having the Bears D. They cannot carry a team (6-10 roster spots) any more than a top player at another position can. People used to say this about Rodgers, Brady, Peyton, or other players at other positions who score far better than others. Guy in our league with CHI-D also has Brees, Welker, RegWayne, Akers but some pretty average RB (until he traded for Matthews and Turner). nelsosi
The Chicago D is crushing the field -- in many leagues they have 50% more points than the 2nd best D. That's a huge edge at one roster spot. The rest of your team would have to be garbage to not at least be in playoff contention. Scorcher
I offered Freeman to the Chicago D owner in one league. His only QB is Eli. Maybe he will take it.
nelsosi
If you're thinking ahead to the playoffs, keep in mind that they play GB in Week 15. Always a gamble starting a D against them. Fantastic matchup against Arizona in Week 16 though.

Fantastic matchup against Arizona in Week 16 though. Right now I have Miami and that"s it with nothing on the WW. Haven't followed D's playing GB lately, but I remember Seahawks had a decent outing because of a lot of sack on Rodgers. Thanks for the heads up.
