Bronco Billy Posted November 12, 2012 Share Posted November 12, 2012 He can't be activated before week 14, so the only benefit you could possibly get would be in FF playoffs in most leagues. Week 15 GB plays @ CHI, so that's not too lucrative. Week 14 he has to go against the DET front 4, so that's not a good matchup for him either. GB does have tEN in week 16, so that would be a positive matchup. As a GB fan, I hope he doesn't manage to get back in game shape. Benson is a plodder who can create absolutely nothing for himself. Between he & Green, there is no real potential for a ground game that takes any pressure off Rodgers. Hopefully Starks can step into the gaping hole that is the GB RB spot and get it to a place where they can expect 4 ypc. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was bad enough with HC not being able to give 20+ carries to an RB. Sharing RB carries works with some offenses, but GB does not have that "quality" of RB to be useful with limited carries. After gulags went out, the bumped Lang out to RT and proceeded to run behind him the remainder of the game. That might actually aid the run blocking. Now on pass blocking, that is another matter.
