I need to decide between Fitzgerald @ ATL or Maclin @ WASH.  Usually this decision would be easy, but Fitzgerald has been a shell of himself this year and Maclin is going against WASH who are ranked in the bottom 5 of pass defenses this year.

Standard performance non-ppr league.

Note: My opponent is starting Foles (not that it should matter)

I think most here would say stick with your studs and play Fitz, but my take is different.  I think that Foles is going to target the heck out of Maclin this week and the matchup can't be ignored. Roll with Maclin!  I'm not sure what Andy Reid will do though. Will he focus more on the ground game with a new QB or will he go to the air against a weak secondary? We'll see.

And, the ATL DEF is no pushover.

I started MacLin in one of my leagues ...atl will destroy Arizona and there def will keep fitz in check..double team all day long

I like Maclin this week but he has a rookie QB with a bad o-line throwing to him.  And you can NEVER bench Fitz, regardless of the matchup.  You know they're gonna be playing from behind all day long.  Double teamed or not, he's still gonna get his.

I also like Maclin.  Seemed there was a pretty good rapport between Foles and him last week in limited time.  It's pretty close though so I would feel comfortable starting either.

Didn't matter who I played.  They both just found their way to my bench.  May be playing Cecil Shorts, Jimmy Graham and Reggie Wayne over them the rest of the way.

Oh, yeah, definitely start those three over Maclin and Fitzgerald the way this season has been going.
