With McGahee's return questionable, I think I should try to pick up Hillman off waivers. Who should I drop - J. Maclin, V. Davis, B. Wells, C. Shorts, or D. Alexander?

Shorts over Maclin? Shorts has a very easy playoff schedule, and Maclin's QB/O-line situation is pretty ugly. Vernon Davis hasn't been producing either.

Maclin and Davis would be my next two, but Shorts value goes down if Gabbert comes back. Both WR are hit or miss guys. I'd pick from those 3 players, Shorts, Maclin, and Davis.. Wells should stay on your roster for now, Alexander also.
