Tripleshot
Apparently it happened on their last extra point too. You gotta be kidding me. As much as I'm pissed about losing gronk, I've always hated New England and if he was out there for the final xp I have no sympathy. Ridiculous If he was out there for the final xp attempt, he was just blocking, nothing more.
irish
If he was out there for the final xp attempt, he was just blocking, nothing more. That's the point. The game was so out of hand that it's unfortunate that he would break his forearm on such a meaningless play and basically be done for the rest of the fantasy season. Really sucks! Calling Aaron Hernandez, your team needs you and do I...
Tripleshot
I was making the point that he wasn't out there in an attempt to run up the score, he was just blocking on a point after attempt. That's gotta be about the safest NFL play you could participte in, outside of the coin toss. Even end of the game kneel-downs are riskier(against Tampa). Sorry, I couldn't resist that past part. Agreed and understood what you were syaing. I was just saying that it sucks that that was the play he got hurt on and that getting injured during a coin flip would be about the only thing worse. CowboysDiehard
He was a big part of one team in a league where I still had a shot. I guess that's done now. Off to the WW....yet again...this is madness.

aruss
Aaron Hernandez needs to get his ass on the field and carry me through the playoffs. He owes me about 9 weeks of valuable bench spots right about now.

PPIchamp
I'm in 1st in one league, and the guy right up behind me has Gronk, so this works out well for me.
e5volcano
I think I jinxed his health. In my league below, I picked up Vernon Davis (who was somehow dropped) to make my team have 3 TE's total of Gronk, Hernandez, and now Davis, even though I don't need that many. DMD
any of you maniacs think that shianco, could have any serios value Hernandez should start this week and even if he doesn't, Shiancoe is not the BU to Gronk anyway (Hoomanawanui). When Hernandez went out and they got nothing to replace him, it is the same nothing that would also replace Gronkowski. Would not consider it. Either Hernandez plays and makes the TE mean something or the production ends up with RB and WR

dougsul
Most players are replaceable, but Gronk simply is not. The guy has been averaging about 17 points a game (.5 ppr) and the best waiver crap I will get is like 7 a game. Hard to expect the rest of your team to pick up the slack each week. Steelhead
I just completed a trade to get Gronk. Sent Forte/Witten/Daniel Thomas off for Gronk and Fred Jackson. He was to be the extra umph to push my team ahead. This sucks cause now its Bennett time.

stevegrab
Why do star players like Gronk work on extra point attempts. Terrible loss for the Pats and fantasy teams that have him.

rajncajn
Why do star players like Gronk work on extra point attempts. Terrible loss for the Pats and fantasy teams that have him. Because the game day roster can be no more than 45 players and you don't want a backup QB or DT etc blocking an edge (CB) rusher.
nelsosi
So you have the top receiver on the team do it instead?
