TheCMB
wow, if Julio Jones is less than 100% they might really be on to something!
TheCMB
ok - I retract my sarcasm... now I realize the Pick-Up joint also includes "trade targets", not just potential free agents
stevegrab
It seems to have a different format for this week. Before it would list groups of players, to give up on, target, etc. And they were expected to be free agents (I believe). Now its about preparing for the push to playoffs and beyond. I understand all that, but talking about targets for a trade, how many leagues still allow trades this late in the season (with only a couple weeks before their fantasy playoffs start). At least one of mine does. The last three PUJs have had the same "trade for a late run" vibe, and all year I've tried to make it more of a "trade for/trade away" piece than a duplicate of the free agent forecast we already run. This week a few bigger name guys were included as potential guys you could trade for at a discount, or guys who would be worth selling out for (i.e. White) if you are in a must win situation. Next week's will have a "playoff prep" vibe, and after that the focus will be on dynasty/keeper guys for next year. As always, some of the players may not be available in your particular league so the advice may not be applicable. Do with it what you will. 2V
BA Baracus
I dig the PUJ article. Free agents are in the forecast, trade strategy in the joint. I dig it. Been very helpful all year.
