Easy n Dirty
If you own Freeman, chances are he's your second string QB - anyone thinking of giving him a start in their playoff game this weekend? He is up against the Saints, who have the 30th ranked pass defense in the league and just got lit up by the Giants for over 50 points. Last time Freeman played them he went for 420 yards and 3 touchdowns. Just curious if anyone is thinking about sitting their starter for Freeman this weekend. Be a gutsy move, depending on who you're sitting. Edited December 12, 2012 by Easy n Dirty
keggerz
Not much of a stretch at all to start him...since week 6 the only QBs that have scored more points than he has are Cam, Stafford, RG3 and Palmer
txpkrbkr
I'm considering starting him over Luck & Stafford. I'm at my wits' end picking the wrong guy between those 2 every week, so yes I'm seriously considering giving them both the finger & going with Freeman. Stashed him off waivers weeks ago...might be time to play with the new toy.
wpayers
Going with Freeman over Stafford and sleeping like a baby.
Rileyrott
Thinking of starting Freeman over Eli this week. Did so last week and got burned........but still won my game, luckily. (Thank You Seattle D/ST!)
BeachBum
Starting Freeman (instead of Eli) in one playoff, and I have Brees in another one! Looking for another of those 52 - 49 games! Oh and he's not a scrub on my teams - I've started him often, in several leagues. In 32 Homers he almost led the hapless Cardinals to the playoffs! stevegrab
Out of the playoffs but I would be starting him this week over Rivers (my keeper QB) who got benched weeks ago and Palmer (who I drafted as a backup). Rivers finally had a decent game, Palmer has been ok but usually not better than Freeman, or more eratic and hard to trust. Hard to imagine that Palmer has actually scored more than Freeman over that extended stretch (since week 6 as keg said). Looking at the weekly scores Freeman is more consistent, a few weeks of mid-hi 20s, the rest in the teens and one low score. While Palmer has one huge week (31) the rest are in the teens and one low score.
pseudolefty
I'll be starting him over Romo. I like the matchup, although I liked his matchup vs. the Eagles last week too. Although Freeman threw a couple of TDs, the yardage was down. I watched part of the game and I thought he missed on alot of throws and open receivers. As I look back on the stats (14/34 for 189 yds and 2 TDs), this confirms that he had a number of incompletions. Hopefully, Freeman improves on his accuracy this week. He'll need to put up some good nos. to keep up with the Saints in the dome.
Patriots
Since I picked up freeman on waivers week 6 I have not lost. I am not going to stop now.
Delicious_bass
Thinking about starting him over Matt Ryan this week. Did so last week and it cost me points but not a win. Hoping to pick the correct one of the two this week (obviously)...

Scorcher
Last week I started Freeman over Ryan, my reasoning was that Freeman was a better lock to score his projections than Ryan, and if Ryan did outscore Freeman the differential would not be that much. Ryan outscored Freeman by 2.8 points last week in my league. I am starting Freeman again over Ryan. Most projections have Ryan outscoring Freeman by 1-2 pts, not enough to take a risk on Ryan. WildTurkey
freeman over RG3 this week. I know the guy's superhuman but when your knee flops in the wind I just don't trust you to take me to the fantasy title game the next week. Nothing personal, I love you RG3. Chargerz
I'm starting him over Dalton this week. The TB-NO game has shootout written all over it!
Favreforlife
Good topic! So I will throw it out there I am considering benching Rogers for Freeman. (I Know never bench your studs) but i'm not sure rodgers has been even a top ten qb over the last 5-6 weeks. Nice matchup for freeman and advancing in the playoffs is really the main thing for me. So fellow huddlers have at it would love to hear all feedback. Happy Holidays to All!
Patriots
I have been riding Freeman. I went RB, WR, RB, WR in my draft and by then all the decent Qbs were gone so I ended up with Vick. I picked up Freeman on waivers and stared him every game since week six and I have won 9 games in a row. I dont need him to be superman, just get me the 15-20 pts I need every week to win. My draft went, Ray Rice, AJ Green, Lynch, VJax. Those guys are carrying me along with Freeman.

dougsul
Well I tied last week starting Freeman over Ryan. This week I was going to start Ryan, but now that Roddy White is a game time decision, how effective will he be even if he plays. Without White there is now way I go Ryan. My league the QB gets -1 for being sacked and I do expect the NYG to be all over him. Not sure what to do, each week I make the wrong decision.
