Gourdeau
I may be stating the obvious here, but I just feel like, even after all the wins, and "should have" seasons in Indy, that he has a better chance at winning his second ring this year, than any other of those seasons in Indy. His rushing attack and D are just so much better than years past. The colts were favorites in a lot of those playoff seasons and always came up short. The 14-2 season when they lost to the Saints in the Super Bowl, and the 13-3 season losing to the Chargers in 2007 come to mind without looking it up. But looking at the overall Bronco's team, the home field advantage in Denver which is unique given the elevation/oxygen thing, the weapons Peyton has, the bronco's seem unbeatable. Anyone else feel the same?? Edited December 31, 2012 by Gourdeau
Zooty
Better defense too I may like them the best of all the AFC teams
Gourdeau
I just have a better feeling this year for Peyton. It's like there isn't as much pressure on him anymore. He doesn't have the several disappointing seasons in Indy hanging over his head, he's not winning games solely on his ability, The D is chipping in, Moreno is on fire. The Broncos are a WAY different team since their last loss in week 5,.. I think that Houston loss yesterday was so huge.
keggerz
Things do look lined up for him for sure. Funny how playing outdoors is now going to be an advantage for him too. After Peyton there are a few more good stories to root for too: Indy and Chuck Pagano Sea with Russell Wilson at QB Wash with two rooks Hou for a 1st SB Ray Lewis 1 more shot, Flacco chance to show he is "elite" Vikings being led by Peterson Falcons showing they can win in playoffs Bengals being led by 2 second year players on offense 49ers after changing QBs mid-stream
Bier Meister
while indy rarely had a decent defense, they did have the benefit of edge. manning did a tremendous job of elevating their offense to compensate for those deficiencies. not many of those "failures" were manning fault. also remember that mr denver himself didn't win a title until he had both better than average rushing attack (actually one of the most dominant at the time) and defense.
