delusions of grandeur
Aside from getting some recognition and speculation around the beginning of the season, people have seem to have forgotten that the QBs behind Brady could be some great trade bait for the man opposing teams love to hate. Haven't really seen enough from Hoyer to make up my mind, but I know I'm far from the only one who's very intrigued by Mallett after getting some of the best influences in the biz to get his head screwed on straight. If I were a team in need of a QB, this would be the first place I'd look over the disappointing rookie and free agent prospects out there. So what do you think? If Brady still has a few years left at a high level, do you go ahead and cash in on Mallet now or even Hoeyer? Any other dark horse candidates? May be time for me to take another flier on Josh Johnson, as long of a shot as he might be, still like the kid's potential.

tazinib1
Name me a Brady b/u QB that has done squat. That guy in KC did wonders...

Caveman_Nick
Mallett, Flynn and Cousins are all likely to generate some interest this offseason.
Chief Dick
Mallett, Flynn and Cousins are all likely to generate some interest this offseason. If the Chiefs hire Dorsey from the Packers I could see Flynn coming here, and the Chiefs still draft a QB #1.

Jackass
Mallett, Flynn and Cousins are all likely to generate some interest this offseason. Might be tough to deal cousins now with the RGIII injury..
MikesVikes
I doubt that Cousins is going anywhere either. They drafted him knowing that they drafted RGIII so nothing has changed for the team in that regard.
half_hennessy
Pretty sure Alex Smith will be available whilst I don't consider him great he is a damn site more proven than the guys being mentioned and would be a nice fit in KC if they can draft someone in the next couple of drafts to sit behind him. rajncajn
Mallett's rookie contract isn't up until after next season. I doubt he moves until then. FWIW, not many thought anything of Brady when he replaced Bledsoe either and Mallett is in sort of the same situation that Aaron Rodgers was in when he came into the league. You can't ask for a better place to sit and learn & with his natural talent he could very well be the next big thing when Brady retires or he moves on as long as it's into a good situation. flemingd
Mallett's rookie contract isn't up until after next season. I doubt he moves until then. Two more years. He's unlikely to be traded though, because he's worth more to the Patriots as a backup than someone else will give up, especially given the amount of film and research they will have on the incoming rookies. Who's going to give a 2nd rounder for Mallett, who they haven't seen a thing from for two years, when they can draft a Landry Jones or Tyler Bray who they have a ton of research on and feel great about?

Alex really needs a dominant defense to compliment his "style" of quarterbacking. While KC does have some solid bones on D, I don't think that they have the level of awesomeness required to make Alex successful there.
