rajncajn
Neilsen reported that Baltimore came in at number one and New Orleans came in at number 2, but that San Fran didn't even make the top 10 cities in the country. 2013 Super Bowl falls short of television ratings record - ESPN Seriously, I always thought San Francisco had one of the larger, more loyal fanbases. Are there just not a lot of football fans in San Fran? Regardless, I can't even imagine not making the top 10.
stevegrab
That is strange. I would guess just not a lot of football fans in SF. Saw the top 10 list somewhere else and noticed that Dayton and Columbus Ohio were both in there. I wonder how these compare to an average NFL weekend. darin3
I heard people were lining up as early as 7 or 8 in the morning to just about every sports bar in the Bay Area on Sunday. I always thought these Neilsen ratings were hogwash anyways.

Not sure if or how they try to account for large audiences in bars or other parties.
