delusions of grandeur
The commercial name for the fish called "Dolphin" is "Mahi Mahi". I know from experience that it's probably because people give you weird looks when you say you're going fishing for dolphin...
stevegrab
The commercial name for the fish called "Dolphin" is "Mahi Mahi". marine mammal not fish mahi-mahi are not dolphin, not related to dolphin, but a fish called dolphin fish (I didn't know that myself until doing a search) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahi-mahi http://voices.yahoo.com/is-mahi-mahi-fish-actually-dolphin-meat-2467196.html
Roadrunner
I've been a Dolphins fan for 42 years. I like the new logo. It's a nice, fresh look. It represents the team and city of Miami well. The dolphin didn't need the circa 1940's helmet anymore, either. Everyone knows the Miami Dolphins are a football team. And they're going back to a lighter shade of aqua that the team used back in the 70's when they were dominant, which I think is cool. And the logo doesn't have to be "tough." Many NFL logos aren't exactly tough... the Cowboys' star, the Colts' horseshoe, the Niners' SF, the Packers' G, the Steelers' stainless steel trademark, etc.
