Shorttynaz
Worth checking out. Pretty funny! http://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/p480x480/532056_529289290451097_1181101736_n.png
Menudo
This was funny prior to the team winning two super bowls and playing in three over the last 7 years. I think most teams would be o.k. with that. From 1980-2005, all the fans had to brag about were the 70's.

Menudo
And still talking about the past.. Past, present, future.....the Steelers have been, are and will be in contention more often than not. 8-8 is an embarrassing season for them. They have more Super Bowl titles than anyone else. Therefore, posts and pictures like this are to be expected.

This is the problem that some have with the Steelers and Cowboys, all they talk abou is SB titles, some of which were 40+ years ago. Yet discount older NFL titles because, well they were not called the Super Bowl back then. The Steelers were in the NFL for many years as a doormat, a horrible team on par with my pathetic Browns of 99-12. You are usually not like that, but when you use the "we have more SB titles than anybody" line it lumps you in with the whole "history" angle. Browns fans would be happy with a few playoff games since 99, and an average of 8-8. But they also had a period of dominance as one of the best teams in the league (pre SB era of course, ignored by so many today). Heck even the Lions won some titles in the old days, but everybody acts like they are the Cubs of the NFL (in perennial suckitude).

Sorry, I don't care too much about what happened prior to my being born, when there were 8-10 teams, leather helmets & no forward passes. So it will be ok with you if people in the next generation ignore the Steelers dominant era in the NFL? Because "I wasn't born then, and there were only 24 (or however many teams). Yeah, nevermind about what great teams existed in the past, its all about recent history, or whatever I consider "recent" so that my teams great years are included. Yeah, we've been through it before, and you're still wrong and would see that if you were not a Steeler fan.

tazinib1
Finally!! A pissing match with AFC North fans. The Cowboys/Patriots/Packers/Bears feuds are getting a little boring. Nice to see some new

The Steelers have been fun to be a fan of during my lifetime. Yes, I do realize there were seasons and championships prior to the Super Bowl era, but, they don't help my argument, so, I ignore them. Damn chain yankers No problem, I thought you were usually pretty reasonable for a Steeler fan. If not, you can try again with your top 6 pick next year.

whomper
Get a room I remember watching one of those early championship games on NFL classic. The QB was in the stands selling peanuts at half time
Menudo
I remember watching one of those early championship games on NFL classic. The QB was in the stands selling peanuts at half time The QB, also known as the other guy who runs the ball sometimes. I love how it is the fans of awful NFL teams that bring back those days when things were better. When there was less competition (8-10 teams), the game didn't resemble today's football & guys made $35 bucks a game. As for Whomper and I getting a room, I've got a message for him: I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car. I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots, and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick; it even makes me rhyme. I hate it, I hate the way you're always right. I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you're not around, and the fact that you didn't call. But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you. Not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. Edited April 29, 2013 by Menudo
