Tripleshot
I would find this disturbing. From an NBC Sports article written by Michael David Smith today: Bears receiver Brandon Marshall is frustrated as he recovers from offseason hip surgery, and he says he’s not as ready for the regular season as he would like to be. “It’s one of those things where I’m just trying to get healthy for Week 1,” Marshall said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “So you’ve got to have a game plan coming off surgery, a third hip surgery. So yeah, I’m not where I want to be right now. It’s a little frustrating. But we’ll see.” Marshall has been playing during the preseason, but he suggested that he’s feeling pressure to play. “Some people might think I need to be farther on than where I am, so it’s a little frustrating not being where I want to be right now and maybe being pushed a little bit,” Marshall said. I'm a little worried. It's not the "I'll be fine, I'll be ready to go week one" you want to hear, but a less than inspiring "But we'll see". DMD
It is concerning but he played hurt all last year and was a sponge in game 2 this summer
half_hennessy
I would say this came up as a result of a lacklustre performance from him in Oakland while the rest of the offense fired, I wouldn't be too worried yet as I think he could be talking more about conditioning in saying he isn't where he wants to be this is one where only time will tell the true story
Goopster24
This is no news. You can read into football players' words all day and come up with whatever meaning you want. You should hear Cutler's response to that. Basically it was "Brandon is being Brandon, is perfectly fine and will come off the ledge." WashingtonD
Regression from last year but still a top 8 WR on 2013
Bronco Billy
If you were a Brandon Marshall owner I'd be offering you a high WR2 to try to get a bonafide stud whose QB loves to feed him the football. If you're worried about him, I'll alleviate that problem for you.

"Brandon being Brandon" sounds spot on. One tends to forget what a head case he can be when he's not in the mational media for doing something stupid for awhile.
