Anyone want to come aboard and consult

I drafted a pretty bad team in a 12 team PPR. Anyone want to come aboard as a consultant and help me win the league. If we win I can guarentee you $500. There is no risk. We would just have to talk via email or text a few times a week on waivers and possible trades.

Just keep in mind waivers is wide open first come first serve. We can work something out for second place or third place as well. It was a $250 league entry with $5 a transaction after 5 free ones. Transaction money is paid to regular season 1st 2nd and third. You would have to be a somwhat known person around these boards.

Let me know. Thanks

You may as well rang the dinner bell at a bums convention. I won't mention any names but the first one to the table doesn't necessary mean anything. That being said, your best bet is the wait until after you get an offer from one AE. Then begin seriously vetting. It probably won't come in the form of a post here but watch your PM box. Good luck with your season.

How about this idea?

Let's make it a message board participation. You can give us your roster, list of waiver possibilities, starters, etc. We'll vote as a group each week.

If you win, you donate the $500 to a charity, maybe something of DMD's choosing. Could be fun.

 David's favorite charity is his beer fridge.

But I do like your suggestion.

I'd be a little concerned over your RBs. McFadden puts up RB1 numbers when healthy, but how likely is he to stay healthy with what OAK's offense looks like right now? Sproles as your RB breadwinner is a little scary. That said, Rodgers + Marshall should put up points.

Is it on MFL? If so, can we see a link? I'd like to see who's available, although that's not a terrible squad. RB is lacking a true stud, but if when Ball starts to really produce in Denver, you'll at least have a competitive starting duo. I like Powell as a RB5 as well. The problem is your RB1 (Sproles) is better suited as a RB2 (although he's borderline 1/2 in a PPR league), and your RB2 (DMac) can't be counted on for much. You never know... If McFadden stays healthy, you might be fine at RB. Unless there's a no-brainer available on the waiver wire, I'd stick with those five. Can't really pick up a 6th, given the limited roster space.

At WR, I'm thinking there's a chance you can upgrade. Roberts isn't a bad WR5 if your first four are solid, but Hopkins and Randle have some question marks in my mind. I wouldn't drop them (particularly Hopkins), but there might be something better than Roberts on the wire.

I like Rodgers, Cook, and the CIN D as well, although not having a backup obviously leaves you slightly vulnerable. With small rosters, I'm guessing everybody is in the same boat. Kickers are kickers, but Henery is only so-so in a 12-team league.

Well, it's not terrible.

Yes it is.

Good luck with this one!

The problem with having the whole board as your "consultant" is that you'll only get a consensus opinion--which is almost never the correct one.

Great minds think divergently; it's the sheep that all think alike.

Cool, then we won't have to worry about you checking in. Thanks for the input.
