so a TE goes down and another TE has to get all his targets?

ok. as much as I wish I did, I don't have time to follow every position at every team in the league. I need to find a WW TE to fill in until Gronk gets on the field. I came to a FF message board to see if any Balt homers had some info on who will be targeted more now that Pitta is out. That ok with you chief?

2 possible reasons no one posts here anymore. I miss the good ol days around here...sigh

Seriously? The sense of humor isn't gone, it just comes from different people. Also I can't believe Clark was even a serious consideration. C'mon man!

With Pitta hurt, Boldin gone, and Smith never being anything near consistent, my best guess is the turf on the field is going to get most of Pitta's targets. (Actually, I expect an uptick in Rice's targets, from both Pitta's and Boldin'd absence, but mostly because Flacco will be checking down more due to his receivers being covered.)

I picked up Jacoby Jones late in a 16-teamer today and am pretty happy with the move. No, you can't play him at TE but I don't think Dickson nor Clark pick up the slack that Pitta's absence creates. The Ravens cut Tandon Doss who was Jones' only legit competition as the #2 (or so I read somewhere) and while Jones may not set the world on fire, he may offer some surprises with Boldin and PItta both gone.

I know that doesn't help the OP much but at least it points you away from looking at a BAL TE.

I'd look Jeff Cumberland's way if he's out there.

I can also see an uptick for Rice and Stokley will see some as well.
