nelsosi
I'm thinking 15-20. Wouldn't surprise me if he and Tate rotate each series. As a Foster owner, I wouldn't be worried about how many touches he gets this week (we know it will be reduced), I'd be focused on whether he comes out healthy. Scorcher
Was it 2011 when Foster pulled a muscle in the first game , left early and was out for 1-2 more games. that is the scenario I see happening. Scorcher
I see him coming out after 120yrd & 2TD's to rest up for next week Does any one think he is in game shape?
nelsosi
I think that's the big question. Haven't heard much about how he's looked in practice the last 2 weeks. I will note that all the 'experts' that keep pointing to his declining YPC last year, always seem to overlook the fact that he was fantastic in the playoffs in January - easily the best player for the Texans against both Cincy and NE. Grogansghost
I tried to look up the numbers - but was having trouble finding stats on Foster's goal line carries. I was wondering if part of his decline in ypc can be attributed to an increase in goal line carries. It's probably negligible, but at the same time - Foster is so valuable because he gets those looks. Was Tate taking more of the goal line carries in 2011 vs 2012? bostonsoxandy
I'm feeling equal split for him and Tate for week 1.
kingsofromance
Foster will get 10 early touches to Tate's zero. Every Foster owner will rejoice and Tate owners will cuss their tv. Houston then will get a little lead and rides Tate the rest of the way. 20 touches Tate. 10 Foster. Tate is in for a very big day. Start him but don't tune in until the second half, give your ulcer a break.
