What are you guys doing with Roddy White

Not sure if he's full go or if he's going to be out there decoying for J Jones taking it easy on his hoof. I am contemplating sitting him for a solid #2 week one but not sure. I am going to be sweating the morning shows for more info but sounds like he's ok but who knows.

Him on the field even half speed forces the D to respect him.

If he plays, I'm starting him with absolute confidence.

Atl-NO is always good for around 60 points, with Roddy usually leading the charge. Don't overthink things.

I know I'm already going against my own advice. Thanks for head back slap. I can go to sleep now.

He's sitting for me, regardless if he plays or not. I've started too many guys listed as questionable who gut things out and try to play only to end up with a 3 for 24 day. If he looks great and plays well (which he rarely does on the road anyway, but that's another story) then I move him right back in. But I have better, healthier options, at least for today.

Roddy White was "questionable" last year for the Week 16 contest with the Lions. He ended up playing in that game and his stat line was 8 catches for 153yds and 2TDs. He was also questionable for the Week 15 contest and had 2 catches for 16 yards.

If you're facing a team with Peyton Manning, you absolutely start him because you're in desperate need of the upside. The question really boils down to can you stomach the 2 for 16 stat line given the production an Atl-NO game may likely give you?

Based on what we know right now, I'd rather have his upside and I'd start him. Fortune favors the bold and I'd be hard pressed to think there's another WR sitting on your roster that you could sub in with his production potential.

Your right, when I look at Hartline, Lafell or Patterson I'm not about to sit White for either of them.

I have White, and I am going to keep my eyes on the news up until kick off. I have James Jones on the bench, but White is a better start if he is on the field in any condition IMHO. These two teams will combine for at least 700 yards and 7 TDs through the air. How much of that action do you want?

Ugh... what to do... Peyton had the best game ever against me and my WR2 Roddy White is injured... Conflicting reports with some saying his injury is worse than we thought and others saying he will have normal production.

I guess I gotta leave Roddy White in but two of my bench WRs have high upside too - Hilton and Desean jackson.

For you, Cowboyz, the decision is easy. With your bench you're forced to put Roddy in unless they say he won't play.

FWIW, in his five regular season games AT New Orleans with Matt Ryan as his QB White has a total of 37 catches, 582 yards and 2 TDs. That's a 16 game pace of 118.4 catches, 1862.4 yards and 6.4 TDs

So that is the upside you have to balance vs the risk of his ankle.

Fixed.

Hard to sit White against the Saints but high ankle sprains aren't anything to mess with, especially for a WR that makes the kind of cuts that he does.

My two Denver WR's have me up 61 points but will lose points due to dropping my TE to snag J. Thomas during Thursday's game. My other options @ WR are T. Austin and K. Thompson. Given the uncertainy for both players I'm rolling with White.
