WDIS at RB2 & W/R & any other changes I need to make?

Here's how my line up looks:

QB: Romo vs. Was

WR: AJ Green vs. Buf

WR: Victor Cruz vs. Chi

RB: Ray Rice vs. GB

RB:

TE: Vernon Davis vs. Ari

W/R:

I need help picking who to start for my RB2 & W/R position, heres my options.

RB:

Pierre Thomas vs. NE

Danny Woodhead vs. Ind

WR:

Amendola vs. NO

Nate Washington vs. Sea

Terrance Williams vs.Was

I also have Coby Fleener for TE if you think he should start over Davis this week.

Thanks for the input.

At RB I would start Woodhead if it is a PPR league and Thomas if it is not.

At W/R I go Amendola. he should play alot more this week and even on limited time he got 4 catches last week.

At TE I go Davis all day. he looked good last week and has a great matchup this week.

Need WR to start, just 1 out of these 3

Nicks

D. Jax

Woods

Jax seems to be obvious choice but I'm sure Revis will be on him and with Foles as the QB, makes me even more cautious. Thoughts please?

I am not worried about Vick being out as he is not a good QB anyways. he just runs real well. Foles is a better QB and it will help the WR's him being in there. the problem is Revis. I think Jackson has a solid day but he will have to work for it.

Nicks has the Bears and for some reason they do better on teams number 2 WR's but 1's do better against them for the most part..

I would go Jackson as I think having Foles back there will get him a few more catches.

Been offered MJD for Roddy. Just need to know expected value here. I am relatively deep across the board. Assume I just blindly plug one in for my flex for the rest of the year and see what happens. .5 ppr, 10 team league with a flex. Thanks.

I don't think Jones-Drew will be helpful all year. White at least has a chance to be helpful if he gets past his injury. pretty even deal IMO.

picked up steward today but is he even worth stashing? Would Vereen be better stash for playoff run? My RB trio right now are Spiller, Trent, L. Bell.

I have never been the Stewart fan. fantasy or not. I have always thought that they were wasting away D Williams talent putting stewart out there. I consider the fact that Carolina has put such a lesser talent like Stewert out there over a guy like Williams who had actual talent 1 of the bigger mistakes I have ever seen in football.

That being said, being unbiased I would go Vereen of these 2. I think Vereen could help. I don't think Stewart, who even when he comes back he comes back to a platoon job that cannot even support 1 RB yet 2 can help. Vereen comes back to a high powered offense that can use him.

M Austin, D Hopkins, or E Sanders??

Which TWO do you like for the rest of the season in a PPR league?

Austin - if he could get healthy he is capable of being a solid # 2. and as we have seen that Cowboy offense likes to throw. also he would have a great schedule.but those injuries.

Hopkins- a excellent talent who given time is gonna be a fantasy stud. but I think right now Houstons offense won't be able to support a 2nd WR as much as they are talking about running. he also does not have the best of schedules.

E.Sanders- does not have the greatest schedule but has not caught less than 4 balls all year. I think this is your most solid option and my favorite of these 3. I think Big Ben throws a ton all year and Sanders will be the next WR that Big Ben helps get a big payday somewhere else.

Picking 2 I go Sanders and Austin.

thx....I agree with you here...I dont need either one atm but I do feel Vereen if he does come back by week 11 would be a great assest to have for the playoff run if I make it :). Now I have spiller @ flex, would you have Nicks over Spiller there since Spiller still has injury issues?

As good as Cincy is against the run and with Spiller being hurt I go Nicks all the way.

I'm going up against Peyton Manning this week (God help me). Below is my lineup, is there anything you would do differently to give me a shot? Or do have no chance whatsoever? This is a 14 team standard scoring IDP league. Also I can only play one TE, so flexing Thomas isn't possible.

QB Andrew Luck

WR Josh Gordon

RB Adrian Peterson

TE Jimmy Graham

W/R Zack Stacy

W/R Andre Ellington

W/R Cecil Shorts

K Garret Hartley

Defense

D Daryl Washington

D Paul Posluszny

D Lavonte David

Bench

BN Ben Roethlisberger

BN Harry Douglas

BN David Wilson

BN Julius Thomas

BN Lamar Miller

BN Kenbrell Thompkins

BN Jerod Mayo

My options are this, I could trade either Blackmon or V. Jackson for either running back, Bell from pittsburg or Murray from Dallas. Who should I trade for who? My starting lineup without the trade would be as follows:

Alex Smith (QB)

Dez Bryant (WR)

Calvin Johnson (questionable) (WR)

Justin Blackmon (WR)

Zac Stacy (RB)

Ryan Matthews (RB)

Martellus Bennet (TE)

Carolina (D)

Dan Bailey (K)

What do you think of trading Chris Johnson + Antonio Brown for Ray Rice?

My other WRs are D. Thomas, Stevie Johnson, Greg Jennings, Harry Douglas. RBs are David Wilson, Andre Ellington, Ben Tate and Brandon Bolden.

Its a QB heavy league and I'm sitting at 4-1 due to the combo of Manning + D. Thomas and/or Julius Thomas going off every week. Maybe I shouldn't try to fix what isn't broken? CJ2k isn't getting into the endzone so a solid producer at RB would be nice. Rice has been hurt a lot and Antonio Brown has been pretty good so I worry that I'd be overpaying.

I would not even think of making that deal.but if you got your mind set up don't let me stop you.

It just looks to me like someone trying to take advantage of you as it helps you in no way. you get worse at RB. you get WAY worse at WR and you get a TE that will be riding your pine this week as you start Benett.

I took the Foster and Gordon for Martin and DeSean Jackson trade.

I stole this from darin3 on the forums, he had this to say about Martin, which even though I drafted him high, I completely agree and never looked at this insight.

"Stayed away from Martin this year, and was fine with trading him away in a dynasty league.

His 2012 numbers were a mirage, IMO.

Weeks 8 (34.9 points in PPR) and 9 (53.2) accounted for THIRTY PERCENT of his total fantasy points last season.

I realize that these games "happened". Taking them away doesn't necessarily make total sense.... since they do COUNT.

But when looking at a first-round, RB1 type of talent, it's my opinion that you need CONSISTENCY along with the potential for a huge game.

Martin had games of 8.4, 5.2 and 5 all against lousy defenses that were giving up booty last season (Cowboys, Redskins and Saints).

In his remaining 11 games, he only scored over 20 points twice. He was normally in the low-mid teens in terms of fantasy points."

Foster is just a more consistent RB, and that's just backed up with numbers and facts. Nonetheless, I definitely had to do some research before accepting this trade..

I'll try this here, not having any luck getting responses on its own thread.

Ok, let me start out by explaining the situation. During this weeks trades I recently made a team to team trade consisting of me trading away Tom Brady and Willis McGahee for EJ Manuel and Marshawn Lynch. I made the trade knowing I was going to drop EJ and grab Geno Smith. This trade went through without veto but a lot of controversy was stirred up with accusations of collusion. I would also like to point out that this league is a Total Points victory condition where it adds your weekly score together for a final total after 17 weeks. I am currently in 1st place with a fair lead over the rest.

I'm not going to go into detail about why I chose to get rid of Brady, I will just say I have faith in Geno and love the RB upgrade I received. I need help setting my lineup this week because I want to show that my new roster/lineup is improved.

Below is my current starting lineup, please reference my signature for details on league/lineup rules:

QB - Russell Wilson, Geno Smith

RB - Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, Reggie Bush

WR - Wes Welker, Antonio Brown, Torrey Smith

TE - Jordan Cameron

K - Steven Hauschka

DEF - Chiefs

FLEX - Terelle Pryor

There are a few things I would like advice on:

TE - I was considering starting Julius Thomas over Cameron but not sure what to expect from Denver, and I'm already starting Wes Welker. Will Denver blow out the Jags so bad the starters will be benched? Not sure also what to expect from the Browns and Weedon being back. Any advice/pointers would help!

K - I want to start Prater but not sure if I should because I don't think Peyton will have any trouble getting in the end zone.

FLEX - My instinct is to go with Pryor because he has been scoring great when he plays, but with the Chiefs Def being as good as it is I'm a little nervous. Not to mention I'm starting the Chiefs Def. I can also start either TE, Cameron or Julius depending on which one I decide to start in the TE position. Then there is the option of Darren Sproles in the FLEX vs. the Patriots going up against my old QB...

Please give any advice/opinions and feel free to suggest any other lineup suggestions.

12 team non PPR league with a super flex position and we combine WR/TE. I can play 2 QBs (Newton and Geno Smith) or 3 RBs (Spiller, Sproles, Leveon Bell), or 4 WR/TE (Graham, Gordon, Nelson, V. Jackson). Just wanna hear what you all might do here. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Lets look here. I do love these kinds of posts

QB Andrew Luck- he should be solid vs the Chargers but I would not expect no giant game from him as the Chargers are playing better against the pass the last couple weeks. 2 TD's and 250 should do you though.

WR Josh Gordon- against my Lions horible secondary. should be hard to stop him from busting 100

RB Adrian Peterson - He is Adrian Peterson

TE Jimmy Graham - he is Jimmy Graham

W/R Zack Stacy- I think he will be solid but nothing more. houston gave up alot of yards the last 2 weeks but it was 2 great defensive teams who stressed the run offensively. the Rams won't stress the run and can't play defense. nevertheless he should be solid.

W/R Andre Ellington - what do you do when you get dominated by the defensive line? you throw to your RB's and TE's. if this was a PPR league I would have him higher but I think he is still solid.

W/R Cecil Shorts- same thing i told the last guy. the Jags might throw 70 times. Shorts should be good for at least 6 or 7 catches.

K Garret Hartley- he is averaging 10 a game. I got RB's having a hard time doing that.

Defense

D Daryl Washington- 1 game back 1 outstanding game.

D Paul Posluszny - solid points every week with tackles as the Jags are so bad teams just keep running at them.

D Lavonte David- kid has been a beast and with the Eagles running so many plays there is alot of points to get for opposing LB'ers.

Bench

BN Ben Roethlisberger- If he could just finish some more drives he woulod be a fantasy beast. I would have him benched too.

BN Harry Douglas- Douglas will have his useful games but I don't think this is 1 of them. Julio Jones would of had a tough time with this matchup. he would if still got 7 catches but Douglas aint Julio.

BN David Wilson- ain't no playing him

BN Julius Thomas - you got Graham.

BN Lamar Miller- I believe Miller has a real chance to go for 100 this week. Buffalo cannot stop the run. the only way Baltimore stops the run is if the other team decides it just ain't gonna run anymore. and I think the Dolphins try and push it down Buffalos throat.

BN Kenbrell Thompkins- I think if you want to watch balls bounce off of Thompkins chest you are gonna have to go to the Patriots practices now.

BN Jerod Mayo - has the Saints this week. alot of tackles there.

I would start Miller over Ellington as I think Miller becomes a commodity this week
