ahavrilla
Floyd injury, plenty of opportunity, great stats through 2 weeks, owned 11% of yahoo leagues

Tripleshot
I predict Royal takes a punt back for a TD in this game as well, prompting one of the biggest waiver wire frenzies and spending sprees in recent memory. Then he gets hurt next week.

Grenaid
Would u bid on royal to use as a wr4? I would. I am. Floyd will be fine according to reports, but he's still a decoy for the time being and Royal is reaping the benefits. Plus, people can bash the chargers all they want, but they put up offensive numbers. Sure Rivers will throw 3 INTs sometimes, but that's another story. HighKite
Eddie Royal has been the pickup of the week alot of times in his career it seems.
grizzly bizzle
starks on GB might get some love to with all the other RBs going down
texanhooters
If DeAndre Hopkinks is still a free agent he will be one to grab as well. Edited September 16, 2013 by texanhooters
Teh Teh Timmay
Would anyone drop Golden Tate for Royal? Tate hasn't done anything so far but this is only week two

keggerz
If this (Royal) sounds familiar to you then you're probably remembering 2010. That's when Royal scored 35.3 points in the first two weeks then only scored another 110.5 over the rest of the season. And the 110.5 points includes a 25.3 pt game in week 4. So after 4 weeks he had 66.9 pts and ranked as WR9...from wk 5 thru wk16 he scored 78.9 pts and ranked as WR63
Tripleshot
Starks looks good when healthy, but he has had his own injury issues in the past. Plus, when Lacy is cleared to play, they're going to play with their shiny, new toy some which means split carries at the best.
alexgaddis
What did Royal do in the first two weeks that would warrant a pick up??
WildTurkey
it's not like he's really muddled in the mix in SD or anything. I dunno how they're pulling off the OL protection they are, but the guy's been decent enough in spurts before. They have "comeback player of the year" reward for a reason. Ron677
Nope, DeAndre Hopkins is the number 1 waiver player that you should be considering. Eddie Royal isn't a bad pickup though, he seems to have very good chemistry with Rivers and good fit for the new offense.

Hopkins shouldn't have been on the waiver wire from the get go, so yes, if he's on the ww then go get him.
stevegrab
kegs post about the 2010 season was very interesting. Not saying that will happen again, but also pretty unlikely that Royal continues on the current pace scoring 2+ TDs every week and putting up those kind of fantasy points. Worth picking up depending on your team/league, but may not be the top target.

Balzac
Brandon Lloyd eventually got in his way in 2010, no? I think he keeps it up to an extent this year because, largely, SD has shrunk the field a bit in its passing game and Rivers is looking for the shorter balls. That really suits a quick, slot guy like Royal (especially when Floyd is hurt). Is he going to score 2+ TDs every week? Hell no - but he'll get his catches and his yards and could easily be a viable WR3 for the rest of the season.
Avernus
Eddie Royal won't score another 5 TD's the rest of the season...
Yrb
http://piclair.com/0y13c this is my current lineup. I was thinking about changing Bears to Eddie Royal. And then put Vincent Jackson on the bench and have Royal in my lineup. What would you say about that? Is that good or should I stay with this? The question is, will Royal keep this up or is the "streak" over now...
