Daryl Richardson?

There was some vague mention on Roto that he did not practice on Friday, but I saw nothing anywhere on the webs about his being hurt/missing the game, however, I don't know that he has been on the field today at all. Odd.

Edit, I just looked up the Roto blurb again and it stated he did "very little" in Fri practice, but they don't specify why.

Additional info from Roto, just posted a short time ago - ie, after the game ... still seems odd that he had been 'ailing all week' but that did not appear to be common knowledge:

Daryl Richardson left Sunday's game after re injuring his foot. Richardson had been ailing all week. He missed practice on Wednesday to rest his foot. Jeff Fisher made it clear then that he expected the running back to play.

I'm actually surprised more guys aren't plagued by foot injuries the way they get tangled up.

I got my foot tangled up when I was playing basketball in high school, and not only will I live the rest of my life in pain if I push it too hard (even hikes and hours on my feet can keep me up all night in excruciating pain), but it is actually getting worse at times, turning into an ankle issue too.

If bad, it's really not an issue that's easy to heal, you just figure out how to manage it.

The good thing about foot injuries is that if they're not too serious, you can play through them and worry about recovering later. The bad thing is that it becomes increasingly easy to re-injure or injure it worse, where it becomes impossible to completely heal.... Richardson probably isn't anywhere near the point of a Bradshaw or Gates who will probably be permanently plagued, but I think the Rams are smart not to push it and re-injure it.

The zero hurt bad today though. Pissed they didn't even hint at the issue, but coaches are learning not to volunteer information they don't have to. Their game is more important to them then ours.

NFL injury reporting really is a joke. The whole intent of it's existence is to make injuries widely known so that organized crime cannot buy inside information for use in gambling on games. Some teams (I'm looking at you Patriots) basically lie about player availability all week long, right up to game time, and there are never any fines handed out by the league.
