Hey guys, just wanted you all to know that I did win by 12 points today. Thanks so much for all the well wishes. McGahee dissappointed as my RB1, but I think it was you guys and your encouragement that put me over the hump.

This board is what's great about fantasy football.

Phew, I was up late thinking about it, and was releaved when I came here to read this.

Thank you for the misleading thread title because you freaked out about your 1 league that no one gives a chives about. Your contributions here are invaluable.

All joking aside, I'm glad to say that yes I do only have one league that I take seriously. How fun is it to be in 10 different leagues and be pulling for every friggin player on the field?? I'll pass...

Actually, I have found that being in multiple leagues is much less stressful than being in a single league. My teams have a few common players, but generally, everyone is either helping me or hurting me in one league or another. Instead of rooting against guys and rooting for some WR to get at least 15.7 points but not more than 22.4 points, I can just kick back and relax and enjoy some football.

Exactly. As long as you don't OCD over that perfect combo of "I need Peterson to do well., but not too well, and definitely not better than Bradshaw, who can take some points away from Richardson but let him get a goal-line TD for good measure" ... yeah, once you can get past that, Sundays are fun!

I'm fortunate enough to have a variety of "types" of teams in a variety of league formats.

In three dynasties, but 3 totally different vibes... one is a juggernaut that I just throw my studs out every week and I lay a whoopin' down (great, just jinxed myself). Another was at one time solid but lost a lot in RFA... so struggling to keep things afloat to make the playoffs and hope for a late season run. And the third is a total rebuild with nothing but youngsters (surprisingly 2-1 LOL).

And then I have a random 16-team IDP redraft, a best ball for the heck of it league and an FSWA redraft league.

Keeps me busy, plenty of players to root for, but not so many where I'm going crazy.

Precisely, I don't need fantasy football to enjoy football, it's liberating to not have to stress over what guys are going to do (until the night games, when most games are either sealed and I have just a few things I want/need). It's more fun to enjoy, peek at some stats and scores and then look at the end of the day to see what I still need.

Or if I have some important matchups, just focus on my players and don't worry what my opponents do. It really is liberating to know that it's too many players to keep up with.

For me the fun of fantasy football is the draft, in-week decisions about starts/trades/waivers, and of course winning. I've come to find that sitting there fixating on "is player X even playing, is he triple covered?" and waiting for them to do something, isn't all that gratifying.

To each his own, but I'm way too competitive to stack the odds so much that I'll always have a good day in fantasy. IMHO, it's not worth the time if you have no chance of total failure....winning 5 out of 9 leagues you're in doesn't seem all that gratifying to me.

Doing this almost made me quit FF several years ago. I enjoy both real football and fantasy football much more now.
