When I saw Starks leave with an injury, my first thought was that Lacy wasn't going to have much trouble getting his job back. Then Franklin looks electric and I'm thinking crap, timeshare at best for Lacy now. But then he fumbles and costs them the game. We'll see how things play out. The fumble plus the buy week all but guarantee Lacy is the workhorse moving forward. Plus Lacy has looked really good in his limited playing time. Not saying Franklin is better, just commenting on the other options you mentioned. I had considered picking up Snelling last week for depth, or Michael Bush who had been dropped during the week.
