Game Clips?

Ha - thanks but I'm looking for something free, and not full games, just clips from each.

Even though they are full games you can jump from play to play because it lists what/who etc happened in each play...so you could watch all of Willis' carries in about 10 minutes tops.

You're not going to find anything that is free that lets you see exactly what you want (be it McGahee runs or JJ Watt pass rushing). NFL site has highlight clips, I'm sure others do as well. But his runs were hardly highlight worthy.

I didn't pay that much attention but McGahee didn't look very good in his running. He had 8 carries for 9 hards, how good would you expect him to look? I quickly went through the NFL gamecenter play-by-play he had carries of 0,4,-1, 2, -2, 9,3,-6

I'm well aware if his stats. I've been told he was hit at the line on most carries, but that he had a couple of nice runs.

On 8 carries in his first game, how do you expect to really know how he looked??

Good for you. Honestly, I would have thought you were getting commission for selling it. Why would I pay for something I'll only use once? Geez..

you only have interest in Willis right now, but I'm sure there will be other players later. It's just a very good tool that I believe in, that's all. Edited by keggerz

Then why do you care to watch them then?

With your entire body of valuable conclusions here, I'd say youre becoming an early frontrunner for NTOY (assuming Baby Jane doesn't still count as one)

Yeah....pretty sure you misunderstood there, guy. The point I made was....how do you expect to know how he looked if you didn't see any of his 8 carries?

Let's break this down for you...was he sluggish hitting the hole or was he hit as soon as he gripped the football? Did the offensive line look terrible, or was the performance all McGahee's fault....maybe half and half? You don't know, do you? Because you didn't watch the game, did you?? HTH

Um, you're the one that started this POS thread asking for his film. What did YOU expect to really know??

I expected to know more about how he LOOKED by WATCHING him than by looking at his damn stat sheet. Is that so hard to comprehend????

Considering you said it is impossible to judge with only 8 carries then yes.

NTOY of the year candidate for sure.

You asked for help, several of us tried to give it to you. You want something for free, but not sure that will even help you.

I watched the game, sorry I didn't visually memorize how McGahee looked on every play, I watched 3 football games in about 7 hours that day. Or maybe I should have recorded it and provided you with that so you could watch it yourself.

Last time I'll try to help you with something.

Yes, 8 carries is very hard to go off of when just looking at paper. However, when you physically see a live human being in action, you generally have at least a little better idea.

Do you understand the meaning of "looked"? That means you have to actually see....with your eyes...

Get real dude. You came at me with your know-it-all attitude questioning "how good I really expected him to look". So in effect, blame yourself. I asked a simple question then said I wasn't interested in paying for a game clip. Then all hell breaks loose, because that hurt your feelings.

And, good....I certainly wouldn't ever ask for help from the likes of you. Thanks, now.

You asked for film so you could "see how he looked on the carries he got"

stevegrab watched said game and said "McGahee didn't look very good in his running"

You replied "how do you expect to know how he looked on 8 carries??"

Common sense has defeated you.

Yes, please refrain from asking for help from now on if this is going to be your response.

Nope, you're wrong again, and once again guilty of either not reading everything or not comprehending, then trying to blame me for your own ignorance. Here is what stevegrab said, verbatim:

"I didn't pay that much attention but McGahee didn't look very good in his running. He had 8 carries for 9 hards, how good would you expect him to look? I quickly went through the NFL gamecenter play-by-play he had carries of 0,4,-1, 2, -2, 9,3,-6"

So, what "common sense" should tell you, is that "not paying much attention" and then only referring to his stats on a sheet of paper by no means constitutes actually watching how the guy carried the ball, how he made his cuts, etc. For example, that 9 yard run could have been a hole anybody could have run through, or Maybe Willis broke 2 or 3 tackles on that play. WHO KNOWS??? If you can't understand why I like to personally see the physical aspects of a game in order to judge one performance, then I can't help you.

And quite honestly, I'm not worried. I'll go ahead and take the blame for being the message board Noob and opening my mouth to defend myself too quickly. I'll apologize for snapping back when my question was answered in a condescending way. I don't want to go back and forth over something so stupid...life's too short. Label me the NLPKE or whatever if was, that's fine with me. Didn't mean to offend anyone, but I guess I didn't expect such an off the wall answer to a simple question either. If I offended anyone, and it seems as though I did, I'm genuinely sorry.
